All I know is if we play like we did in the 2nd and 3rd in the remaining games we will be a 4 seed. And if we play like that against Detroit we'll be a 3 seed.

Well the most consistent goaltender since the lockout and it's not even close did what he usually does.

Hawks had a nice comeback brewing and it was just snuffed out by awesome goaltending.

8-1-0 in their last 9 games, I'll take it!

Need to handle business tomorrow in TB!

TIME TO START A NEW WIN STREAK!!!!

Sounds like a broken record but we gotta start playing 60 minutes every night, especially against bad teams because we've left a lot of points out there against teams like Edmonton, Florida, St. Louis, Colorado, etc. either cause we came out flat or didn't play the 3rd period.

Great ending to the game, tough loss to swallow cause we got so much pressure on Vokoun in the 3rd but you gotta tip your hat to the guy tonight, he flat out beat us... again.

I just want to know what everyone thinks about the first period. They just weren't the same Hawks from the last 8 games. Why?

80 degree weather... A full day off... After going day on day off day on basically... No morning skate today...

I had a bad feeling about tonight. Tomrorow night should be interesting.

All about Florida... They deserved a point though, but Vocoun stole it.

The Stammer - Lecavalier - St Louis line is almost as good as our top line. I KNOW the guys will come out harder for this one. **** the Panthers, whatever, we know the Hawks will step up against a good East team tomorrow.

Hawks win 4-2.

Yeah, Tomas Vokoun played crazy good. I think a lot of their also-ran players had a lot to prove tonight too. I also think someone in the FLA organization gave them a great game plan for the first period. Man on man and stick on them like white on rice. It worked, good for them. Bad for us.

Besides the odd 1st period the Hawks looked the waaaaaaaaaaaay better team.

Have to question the coaching staffs decision to start Craw tonight. Not saying all 3 goals were his doing but he did not look good to start the game. He was due for a game off and I know he was going for Halls record but it just felt like a game that Turco should have started. But again a couple defensive lapses in the 1st didn't help that period. Vokoun stole the rest of the game.

I heard Q mention during the postgame that it's a 45 minute drive from the hotel to the rink down there. I know the rink there is out in the suburbs but either fail on the hawks part for not finding a hotel closer to the rink or that's a pretty bullshit advantage for a team to have.

Vokun is going to be a hot commodity this off-season. He is going to get a huge payday from someone. The Hawks should have won 6-3. But you can't win every game. Your going to hit a hot goalie like this eventually. The question is Turco or Crawford tomorrow? I bet Q goes with Turco Crawford needed a rest and I think Q was waiting for a loss.

I can't get over this loss, I really can't..even Ton saw my frustration. This was a team that you whipe your ass with and flush down the toilet. I thought if we were going to lose it would be against the Lighting. Don't think they aren't hungry for a win. I just saw that two of their top two forwards are not playing so well so they are going to come out lighting fast. Lets hope Q ripped them a new hole...cause during his post game interview at the end he was huffing and puffing like he was about to go on a killing spree. Should be real interesting Wed.

Actually, Q wasn't kidding... There's not a single hotel near the rink at all. There's a mall and a couple bus lines around it, but nothing more than that. And I know those busses do not go past 9:30pm or so out there, so that means I'd have to either leave during the game or take a taxi...

Fort Lauderdale is actually in my bottom 10 places of hockey hell for transportation purposes (bus/train to hotel and access to other amenities). Edmonton and Detroit are not too far behind.

Difference with Edmonton and Detroit though is that's just because the airports are out in the middle of nowhere. Florida's not too far from Fort Lauderdale's airport if I remember right. Not saying that it's the reason we lost tonight but I think that's a huge disadvantage for visiting teams to have to stay so far from the rink. It's like the hawks asking the opponent to stay in Joliet. Still gotta fight through it but regardless Florida has a hell of an advantage with that

Just keep St.Louis covered like white on rice and that will really really hurt that line. He's the setup man on the line and one of the best setup men in the league. There was a time I really wanted the hawks to acquire him since I figured Stevie Y would be rebuilding the team and Marty's value wasn't going to get any higher.
