When a team is challenged at the centering position and the 6.5 mil winger who could play center, but won't ( personal preference) and a certain #88 has said he likes playing with the old guy you so despise, not a lot of options.

The team does not always lose when they run that combo but when they do, man is Q on the hotseat "what an idiot". Bollig, why is he on the ice? THEY WORK THESE GUYS EVERY DAY THEY PRACTICE, you think they put guys out there to spite you ? Unless you see the practices you don't see what they see and base their opinions on as far as who gets playtime.

Last nights game was not lost because of a 4th line player or Handzus playing with Kane or because of your so called, baffling Q coaching decisions.

Those calling out Sharp and Hossa have a point, but at the same time Hossa is have a great playoffs no matter how many goals he has. He has been everywhere these playoffs.

Sharp is one snipe away from getting very hot with how many open looks he has had as well. The loss was not anything to really shake us to the core, the Kings are fucking awesome hockey club and they showed that last night. However, their defense is certainly banged up and if we continue to shut down the Kopitar line I like our chances.

Meanwhile in the Canadiens game.....one of the poorest calls I have seen since, ah, ah........last night. Unbelievable that the NHL lets refs call games like they do.

Can we please discuss the interference call on Hammer? You have got to be fucking joking me that they pull the whistle deep from their anal cavity to call that last night.

Did you see Prust elbow the **** out of Stepan's head with no call?

Shades of the Drury hit.

Then they kick Carcillo out of the game after a "charging" penalty on Prust in the 1st. All Carcillo did was skate in and pin Prust to the boards and he fell down.... officiating has been fucking embarassing.

That's not a personal preference of the player, Sharp has come out, numerous times I believe, and said he would have no problems playing center. For whatever reason, they won't play him there. And it's not whether or not they win or lose when they use that combo with Handzus centering Kane, because not everything pends on it (but a lot does) it's that it drags Kane's production down. That shouldn't be able to be argued against anymore at this point, by anyone.

It was a good thing Regin was centering on Kane's line in that OT play to close out the Wild, because Handzus sure as **** isn't making it up the ice fast enough to tie up Suter which allowed Kane that chance.

Last time I looked the coach makes all line combos. So Q made that possible !!!! He changes lines so many times thru a game, occasionally there will be a combo that doesn't make sense to the armchair "deary-me" quarterbacks.

Yeah there's trying out different line combos, definitely. No doubt he does that. Then there's constantly going back to something obviously not working all season long, all playoffs long. Seeing, blatantly, that it just doesn't fucking work. Trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I know what Einstein would call that, what would you call that? A good coaching decision?

Not a single fact in your post.

So far, it appears moving Patrick Sharp to center when he returns from what a source said is a shoulder

injury — likely Thursday against the Blues — is not one of those options. Sharp was the No. 2 center for much of 2009-10 when the Hawks won the Stanley Cup but has been at his preferred left wing almost exclusively since.

Sharp said coach Joel Quenneville has not approached him about a move but he would embrace it if called upon.

"I'd go back there 100 percent," said Sharp, who was injured March 6. "We have four centers and guys sitting out who are capable of playing there but if Joel asked me I would do it in a heartbeat."

Taking a face off on your strong side is not playing center bonehead.

he had center shifts pez after the kings fourth goal not talking about just taking draws. cant believe this conversation about sharp at center still takes place. hes a far better lwer overall esp now that he never hits never takes a hit never goes to the net anymore and is a shoot first player. **** sharp at center. Him and saad can play for the softest players on the team award at LW. sharps been soft ever since GQ magazine made him into a sponge.

shaws return is going to help this team.

It will also give Q the power to create crappier line setups as evident in Game 2.

I don't give a rat's dick how well Bollig plays in practice. He sucks during games because he does not have NHL talent.

Quenneville believes in "energy, jam, toughness, grit", and is willing to waste a roster space on that canard.

I blame the coach for stupid roster decisions, although Lispy is the fucking idiot that gave that chowderhead a contract extension.

I can't really argue with that. Hossa may not be scoring but he's actually playing well when he doesn't have the puck. Sharp though, just looks snakebit.

I still consider the loss a team loss, and I still think the issue last night was mental; and thus fixible.

Insanity= variable constantly second guessing a hall of fame coach. You would end up being unhappy with whoever replaced Bollig or Handzus . Toews can't play on every line.

It is possible to be wrong as a future hall of fame coach, you know. Even Scotty Bowman was wrong quite a bit.
