I don't KNOW, but the CLUES are there. Given the media of our day and such and the reports that come from taht it would be the most logical choice that no one wanted him. And you know that.

lol. thats just stupid,

I was wrong, you don't know that. Sorry about that.

again just because there wasnt a rumor or a tweet by buster doesnt mean that teams werent inquiring on him. So with you logic if the beat reporters dont have any rumors and a player wasnt moved that = that player wasnt inquired on. good stuff once again.

TRUTH: We couldn't pay teams to take Dunn from us. I bet if we offered 80% of his salary, nobody would bite.

GIven that it seems the reason the Sox still have Rios is that they wouldn't take on a dollar of his salary I doubt they would have a different policy on Dunn.

based on what? your professional opinion? I guess there are no contenders that need a LHd stick at: .225/.331/.797/112+ W/26 HRs

Not many teams in true contention need a DH or a bad First baseman. Like was said earlier, too bad he wasn't there the first 60ish games of the season. Glad he is increasing his trade value though!

Texas is interested in him.

Strong chance that it is a salary dump.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Toledo Rockets
He's in such demand that no one claimed him? Nailed that one.

Such a black and white mentality. I'm sure teams have interest in Dunn, teams probably didn't want to risk getting dumped with the whole contract ($20M through the end of 2014).

A team like, say, Baltimore, probably rather send a prospect and receive cash for Dunn, than just eat Dunn's whole contract.

We totally agree. I said as much in the Rios thread.

Here's the rub as far as we know, multiple reports are that the White Sox want top talent and to spend no money on a player they do not control. Things could change, but that seems to be the gist.

this.

Im not sure I want to move dunn. He has 1 year left so just ride it out because we will have zero power in 2014. but on the flip side if we pay some of the salary plus with rios gone we have a shit load of money to spend to build around the pitching. I like our position.

This isn't a Dunn hate "post", but if he's somehow dealt, this team will have a different look come spring training.
