Is it the shift's fault or the hitter for not making them pay for doing that stuff?

His fault for not hitting the other way but he hit a rocket down 1st base line and it was snagged

And that happens to everyone.

I just don't see why every professional hitter can't take advantage of a shift.

I don't know why he doesn't. Hell he could even **** the D by trying to just tap it the other way. I don't get it. Only a few guys that I know have the shift. Great hitters don't. I just wish Dunn was at 8 million a year not what 14 mil?

I wish he could play the outfield and give us some flexibility

id put him out in LF the rest of the year, viciedo at 1b and konerko as the DH. Dunn is not good in the outfield but he will be fine in a lost season.

He's played outfield before. I'd like to move Viciedo to 1st and Konerko DH would be nice

I like the thought of Viciedo at first to see if he could be an answer or at least a stop gap.

Not much of a debate, really. Dunn was a terrible acquisition and KW should have been fired for it, among other bad decisions he's made.

I'm not just saying this in retrospect either, I knew Dunn was a waste from the very beginning. You don't bring a guy who strikes out as much as Dunn does to an American league lineup that's HR dependent to score runs. The entire lineup consisted of low OBP guys who pulled the ball. It was a disaster and KW should have been let go.

It wasn't Kenny's fault. Adam was a 270 avg 35 HR 100 RBI hitter. Now GMs take the fall I understand. There's other reasons that were bad this year. Ya he really isn't living up to his deal.

Thank you for speaking the truth.

KW is the reason why this team is worse then the Cubs. The fucking Cubs. And we will be for the next 3+ years.

Yep, highest ticket prices in the league for a team that's trying it's best to lose more games than the Cubs and Astros. :puke:

I'll feel better once Rios, Beckham, Ramirez, Floyd, Danks and Keppinger are out of here. What a complete waste of salary.

you are all over the place in your post. so kw should have been fired for signing dunn? but you just stated the lineup is full of low obp guys...isnt that what he was signed for? obp and hrs? or is it because his BA is low and zomfgzz he strikes out. you do realize you build a team to your park right? i mean the cell is a huge huge top hr hitting park in all of baseball but yet what...you want more BA players...maybe juan pierre? pound sand.

I wavered on the KW fiasco. But he helped bring us a WS title. Now Hahn is the GM we'll see how much he actually controls with KW being president. All in all he's made some good moves and bad ones. But I hardly see him getting credit for good moves in the past. Dunn was a fine acquisiton, just hasn't worked out the way we thought for the most part.
