Of the 72 NHL players who have reached 15 goals this season, Viktor Stalberg is the only one without a special-teams goal.

He has made some HUGE mistakes in the last couple weeks that have cost us a W.

3 games: too many men, Turnover, Turnover.

The cawk bros are back in action. What about the Toews turnover that led to an avalanche goal, or the Keith turnover. You guys have to constantly bring up the same 3-4 players and still look like dumb asses

not really. Keith has sucked all year. Toews can get a break from a turnover since, well he is toews and is much much much better than stalberg and makes far less bad plays than stalberg, and makes more amazing plays than stalberg....so to use that as your arguement is just silly, and....makes you look like a real fucking idiot even bringing that up. try again lil buddy.

^^^ This forum is a whole lot better when you and Capt Serious aren't around.

People can actually have disagreements and be respectful about it. Happens all the time around here but never seems to happen with you involved. How old are you again? Damn...sad

No turnovers should not be happening at all from anyone. I can see an unlucky bounce could be an excuse, but Toews tried a no look drop pass that led to a 2 on 1 goal. Again I said it before too this whole team makes turn overs, and they don't get it in the zone quite like they used to when Brian Campbell could carry it in.

False. He's been brutal on this road trip, along with most of the team. Also had a pretty rough stretch in mid/late November.

But during December and January, Keith was looking like his 09-10 self again, and the team was rolling. You could make the argument that as Keith goes, so the team goes.

Because Nick Leddy hasn't shown the ability to fill in for #51, that trade hasn't worked out in the Hawks favor just yet. I'd take Campbell over the cap space right now.

I probably would to. It's nice to have that contract off the books, but he was a key piece to the puck possession game the Hawks like to run. Leddy hasn't been bad as a #3, but you can see the lack of experience at times. Hopefully a #3 or #4 guy can be picked up to him Leddy with his game

I'm completely biased because Campbell was one of my favorite Hawks, but I HATED this move when they made it because I didn't think what Campbell brought to the team would be easily replaced. If he was still on the team, Leddy would still be growing into the NHL D-man we hope he becomes on the Hawks third pairing, and he still probably could've gotten some PP time as well. Instead, he's in the top four and he's routinely being matched up with some of the best in the NHL--and he's overmatched right now.

I still love Leddy and I think he's going to be a stud D-man one day. But I think he was thrown into the fire a bit too early.

I agree completely. I still think he will be a very good player, but we rushed him into the role, and it hurts the team right now.

Campbell being gone has hurt this team by a lot more than what a lot of fans think. salary isnt missed, his play has been.
