I just watched another doc film on Hicks and fell in love with him more if that were possible. I don't know how anyone could get tired of Hicks or not enjoy him. Unless one were afraid of what he makes us look at and laugh at.

How much do you smoke a day sir? [the man says a pack] Pack! What a little puss. Gosh, why don't you just put a dress on and show it all to us while you smoke your little faggoty pack. C'mon, swish around for us. Damnit that pisses me off. I go through two lighters a day, dude. I'm starting to feel it.

Another guy who died too soon. People seemed to either love or hate Hedberg. Put me in the love camp. He was just starting too as far as a comics lifeline goes. Could have been someone huge.

Saw the selection on Netflix but haven't watched it yet. I don't know much about him. If I hate it I am going to punch your taint ton.

I'll say this, you won't laugh your ass off the entire bit and there are some awkward moments, but for the most part, I laughed pretty hard at some parts and it was worth the watch. Word of warning, he says "you know" a lot, started pissing me off so try to tune that out. Could be a drinking game though if you're into that lol.

I really enjoy stand-up comedy, I watch whether they are good or bad. For Bill Burr, I'd give him a 6 out of 10, which isn't spectacular but there are some prime moments that I really enjoyed.

I'm sure you all know this, but Pandora has a comedy channel now hosted by rooftop comedy and I think maybe some others, basically you just put in your favorite comedian and it goes from there. so I would suggest making an Andy Woodhull channel.. haha. It's slightly different than the music event though they go about it the same way. The reason for this is they try to break down each commedian's type and associate them with others, and it just doesn't work the same, you can't put most comedians in a box like that. Such as, Sexual Jokes, because they have a joke in one of their CDs, or Deadpan, because of a certain skit, it's not the same of labeling a band country or rock. Plus they don't have as much material out as a lot of the bands, especially since it's limited by distributors. SO it's a great channel for finding a lot of good new comics, but it's really all over the place so be prepared to skip folks.

My stand up friend broke his leg about 2 weeks ago, he said it's been a very different gig that he has put on now.

Could be a sit down comic vs. a stand up...

baddoom doom....ching!!

Im looking forward to Nick Krolls new show on Comedy Central. Hes one of my favs as far as stand up goes and I think he is built for sketch comedy as he is a character based comedian at the best.

Looks good, but I'm so tired of the skrillex type house music being added to everything to try to make it hip and cool

Yah I agree. I think it's probably cheap for advertising also to use that music. I could do without any if its a matter of having music or not. Comedy Central is great at using house music in their advertising. Maybe they have some sort of contract with a guy on a key board and a turn table?

I would love to see a Nick Kroll skit of this type of music used at inappropriate times. like a guy in surgery who puts music on or at a funeral as guests arrive.

Daniel Tosh and Louis C.K. are probably my two favorite current comedians. I am a big fan of the "shock" comedy.

I see people complaining about shit like this all the time. Once their line is crossed its "outrage". Rape and aborted fetuses can be funny too.
