BBQ/smoked/jerk foods.
What's your fav food from the Blacks?
Josephines is now run by her son..Please get a menu from 20 years ago that shows she served wings..I bet you cant
and I never ate there, so my OP still stands
Still striking out I see
So now I have to guess which restaurants you ate at and find menu's that predate internet??? How about you prove that wings weren't on the menu? That should be easy for you considering boomers never throw out menu's, so I imagine you have some random drawer in your house that has 20 year old menu's from places you won't ever go to.
So unless you can show us a menu where wings aren't on a soul food restaurant's menu, your OP is crap. What is more likely, an idiot made a claim that they cannot back up and is just leaning into the lie or a soul food restaurant not carrying a staple in soul food?
We have never called it gravy either. But some Italians do, just not the ones that live in ItalyI have never heard any Italians I know call it gravy. I knew an entire Italian family over twenty years and not a single one called it gravy.
So unless you can send me an Italian that calls it gravy, I am just going to assume that's not really a thing.
Leo..You a Paizan too?We have never called it gravy either. But some Italians do, just not the ones that live in Italy
Is it Sauce or Gravy? Why Italians Argue About The Term. - Hardcore Italians
Italian-Americans are pretty split (and heavily opinionated) about whether their delicious Italian Sunday sugo is called “Sauce” or “Gravy.” As owner and content creator for Hardcore Italians for over 10+ years, I have seen this argument pop-up countless times. Opinions are always very one-sided...hardcoreitalians.blog
True story - was back at my In Laws over the summer for a few days. They asked what we wanted to do for dinner and we agreed on take out. I started to scope out Yelp. My FIL disappears and returns a few minutes later with a MF'ing binder that is 3-4 inches thick chalked full of menus lmao. I never said that soul food restaurants don't offer wings..
I said from the get go that you might find soul food restaurants that offer wings, but I hadn't seen them.
I stand by that..I hadn't seen any that offer them and that was 20 years ago..

I never saw chicken wings on the menu in a black owned restaurant...get some education

Not from when I ate there..keep trying...You're on about strike 10
Well, since I don't live in Chicago anymore and I don't know of any soul food restaurants here. Thats a bridge I won't have to crossLet's say you're craving soul food, but also want chicken wings.
So you pull out your menu from 20 years ago and don't see chicken wings.
So you compromise and say I don't need chicken wings.
But the soul food restaurant updated their menu and began offering chicken wings?
Youre grasping at straws..Either offer proof or let it go..Im tired of responding to your "stretches"Prove me wrong, an old school restaurant like this typically doesn't make changes to their menu....prove me wrong

We started with gratis corn muffins, crisp edges yielding to soft interior, flavor packed gumbo, nice hunks of andouille in a no roux style broth and fine, but in no way memorable, Hot and Sweet chicken wings.
Youre right..I never heard of Wingstop...SOMEONE HAS NEVER HEARD OF LITERAL WINGSTOP LOLOLOLOOOOOOOOO
We have never called it gravy either. But some Italians do, just not the ones that live in Italy
Again...youre grasping at straws..I said I hadn't been back in Chicago in 20 years..The last time I ate at Army and Lous was years before that...Strike 11 nowLTHForum.com
