My favorite teams
Actually, the Whitecaps should be pretty solid this year. Le Toux addition was huge, Nguyen could be difference maker.
***** somewhere else? I'd rather ***** here with you bitches.
For what it's worth, I think Torres's hit on Hossa was wicked, as was his hit on Seabrook, as was his hit on Eberle. I don't miss all the powerplays he sent the other way.
It looks like we're not going deep into the playoffs, and I can't help feeling that we were really eliminated from Cup contention the moment Duncan Keith burried his elbow into Daniel Sedin's jaw. Much the way you were eliminated from Cup contention the moment Raffi Torres launched into Hossa.
You've said Daniel Sedin had it coming because he hit Keith first. What are we? School children? This argument makes me imagine Keith in his hearing with Shanahan whining, "Well, he hit me first." The video of it posted here described Sedin's hit as "questionable." Shanahan obviously didn't think much of it. But yes, Sedin's shoulder did catch Keith's head. But Sedin's hit caused Keith to miss not a single shift. Keith's hit has caused Sedin to miss a month, and a pretty crucial month. So don't compare those two hits.
I am a Canucks fan, but I am not anti-Blackhawks. It's the Bruins I hate. I hate Marchand, but I love the way Kane and Toews play the game. What I object to is the segment of Chicago fans who are now crying foul and playing the victim because your star was knocked out by an illegal hit as if the Hawks have never done the same to another team.
Then when I watch the news tonight I can say these guys were dewsburned
I would thank ya, but my button is gone
Heres something for ya:
You were the best team in hockey during the regular season correct?
Ok, so your best player gets hurt....so now you go from a presidents trophy winning team to about to be swept by an 8th seed because of 1 player? I dont think so.
I should have specified. I meant Torres.

My Bad I thought you was referring to the Cooke hit, and his next game in Boston. I really would love to see the instigator penalty taken out just to see if it cuts down on these plays. Would bieksa have played they way he played last year knowing Q could send John Scott out there at any time he acted out and just beat the piss out of him.
Well if it makes you feel any better, I like the Sedins and I didn't think Torres' hit on Hossa was the end of the world.
His hit on Seabrook was much more egregious.

But here we are, the excuses are coming; it's been the Vancouver motto for years.
Have they given a diagnosis on Hossa yet, maybe even a prognosis?

I agree with you. Well, except for the Sedin <3.
Blame Keith, fine, whatever makes you feel better, but you can go **** yourself with that idiotic excuse. Quite a few years ago, I seem to remember a shit ton of criticism tossed at the Sedins as they needed each other so much (to the point of dependence) to be successful. Then that criticism gets to be tested as Daniel gets hurt for something like 20 games and Henrik didn't skip a beat. He won an Art Ross and a Hart without Daniel. That was unfair criticism; Henrik proved it. This is even a better team now than they had then and that team also went further in the playoffs than this will (presumably). So now Canuck fans, who were adamant about defending their boys (and as I pointed out, rightfully so), want to take it back now? You can't have it both ways...
You are another brainwashed Vancouver Canuck sheep so far in denial you refuse to assess and direct your frustration where it belongs, at the organization of your favorite team. If your favorite organization can use a first round exit (and possibly the first President's Trophy team to get swept in almost a century) to wake the **** up, it might just be what this organization needs to make the necessary changes to ice a winner for you.
