I think the amount of snow that could possibly fall in Chicago or New York during BASEBALL SEASON (April to September, in case you get confused) is so little that snowfall would in no way come into the conversation if you want to compare the weather of these cities.

Weather: SF has better weather on average than any other place he named including the warmer weather cities of Arlington/Dallas and LA

Didn't want to move his family....but would have moved them to LA...which is down the coast 5 hours from SF.

Right. Logical thought =/= to pointing out that Soriano not wanting to play on the west coast or move his family west as reasons to not play in SF seem rather odd based on the fact that one of his preferred destinations is a 5 hr car trip away in California. Or pointing out him wanting to play for a contender yet excluding SF from the trade talks is dumb because SF has won two world series in 5 seasons.
