Me too. Especially when you have back problems. Cables and machines work fine to hit the rear delts.

Strip sets with dumbbells will get the delts ripped and huge

Tough when seated with torso parallel to ground using dumbbells, I hate those.

I stopped doing them seated a long time ago. Just grab a few pairs of 'bells and do them bent over. Doing some cheat reps is easier when you get to the end of a set, too

Yep. And if you get a good sense of your body, you can adjust your elbows, knees and waist angle to hit right where you want to. You can get rhomboids and traps as well as the posterior and lateral delt fibers all with bent over flies with dumbbells.

And dont be that guy playing with way too heavy of DBs for bent over/reverse flys. I use 25 lbs at most in my back looks great. Morons use 45 lbs to impress people and look horrible . It's all about form and hypertropy reps fellas!

20's and 25's usually. If I'm feeling really ambitious or a badass song comes through the play list I'll grab the 30's but that's not very often. Drop sets are also very effective but hurt, really bad...

All I can go off is my own personal experience. I've played around with the following different ways of supplementing when it comes to vitamins:

1) Took a high quality multi for awhile
2) Bought a bunch of vitamins separately (can't remember all of them, it was awhile ago)
3) Animal Pak

Could totally be placebo effect, but I definitely felt best when taking Animal Pak. I'd have to total up the cost, but I'm pretty sure it is less expensive than #2. I don't take them 2x daily...once is more than enough. One can of them lasts about a month and a half that way and costs like $25 or so online. As far as the neon piss / absorption goes, had the same thing w/ the B complex I was taking in #2.

As far as energy goes in general, agree that caffeine is a good supplement. I know some people doing the whole ECA stack thing (ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin) with good results...but I don't really want my heart to explode. Plus that shit makes me jittery.

Fish oil is good shit. Do you take glucosamine at all?

Also hit the sauna after every workout for like 10-15.

Edit> Also, I am well aware that 99% of supplement marketing is complete bullshit. This just happens to be one of the very few products that actually has some positive benefits (from my personal, anecdotal experience).
glucosomine? yeah, I used to take it- my dad swears but it. But personally the benefits of fish oil is crazy. Great stuff. Well, glad Animal Pak is working out for you. Personally, I don't think my kidneys would like it very much. I imagine lot of that stuff is hard on them, but that's just my opinion.
I've been raving about chocolate milk to everyone. As someone who has that lean athletic Marky Mark build; I haven't lost anything since cutting off whey protein. So many articles are coming out about the benefits of chocolate milk post workout and the same benefits as whey, it's made me switch over. Same strength gains, same size, less bloated, healthier(tru moo); I personally love it. I don't know long term effects of whey protein on the kidneys and liver, so I just said I'm going to stop using it. Period.

I haven't looked back! Chocolate milk, multi vitamin and fish oil is all I swear by lol. But glad to see stuff is working for others!

.... But you'll be done quicker, which is the best part! My workouts usually last 45 mins to one hour, then sauna time. I read they are usually supposed to be only one or at the most.

Drop sets are fantastic. I hate them as much as anyone but they'll definetly help you gain size for sure.

Wanna talk about hurting really bad... Start doing leg raises 3x15. I usually do full on pull up leg raises, used to do 60 reps n I swear to you they never get easier lol.

Sheesh, whatever so am I missing with Crossfit LoL. God, I can't believe people pay those hacks money for the bullshit they spew

While what you're saying is true, crossfit seems to have a larger % of people doing dumb shit with dangerous form.
Honest to god crossfit is just another Tao Bo Jane Fonda aerobics BS that lazy people who are too insecure to workout by themselves join so they can feel apart of a group. I'm trying not to be a dick but whenever i deal with crossfitters it feels so much like a damn cult it's ridiculous. People spend nearly $100 a month on a routine you can find online for free and motivation you can get with a cheap iPod. Unreal.oh, and it's also for women to wear skimpy clothes and not be judged for it lol. Least the women who lift solo wearing skimpy outfits own it and don't care bout the hata's

Soo true! Preach on. Just lift with form, eat healthy, and do cardio.

Blech, any drop set during leg day is just awful. I usually do a leg press drop set as the last set. Just take 2 plates off each side every drop, work down to 1 plate per side until I can't move anymore.

Another leg day drop set is: super set extensions and curls but no rest between sets and drop the pin a few plates each rotation.

****, I'm getting nauseous just thinking about this...

Edit: fucking hell, I hate the android autocorrect system

Fish and flaxseed oil are both very good for you.

Why chocolate specifically? Wouldn't oyu get the same protein and vitamins from regular flavor milk?
The sugar and carbs post work out are very beneficial for you and help the protein be absorbed faster into your muscles.

Hmm. I just use gatorade for that and drink whey proten shakes. But if a lot of whey is harder on your kidneys and I can get all of the above benefits from delicious chocolate milk, I'm down for giving that a try.

Yeah, I personally have been raving about it. I mean I haven't inclined 100 with DBs and I got those up last Friday- haven't touched a shake in months. So the fear of losing size and strength is BS

My doctor read me the riot act about protein shakes the other day. Told me to knock the shit off.

As long as you drink plenty of H20, protein shakes in moderation are good. It just makes your kidneys work overtime so you need more H20. Also creatine dries you out by pulling H20 into your muscles, but I have made some great gains in strength with it, but not too much size bc my metabolism is too fast.

Just imagine what steroids do to the body if we are concerned about protein shakes...damn
