FWIW, the Bears can't erect statues at Soldier Field, as they do not own the building.

The last link I clicked on that you posted gave my phone a virus. No bueno.

Well they have the Bears drafting 2 RB's with one being the Holyfield kid in the last couple of rounds.

Everyone has said it. Pace will be judged on how well biscuit does. This is his third year. Ultimately comes down to performance this year. He’s leaning toward competent but an bad year by trubs can cancel out all the good he’s done. This is the year.

Yeah i don't agree with that and don't think most do. I think Trubs has already proven that he can be a good QB in this league but still has to prove much more if we want to get to and win a super bowl. I am not sold on him to do that yet but hoping for that this year or at least to see a nice jump in growth. Either way i don't think the people that matter (McCaskey's) fire the guy even if Trubs played worse this year then he did last year. He's proven himself to be good at his job already just by where this team is now with his free agents (not all) moves, his drafting (not all) and how he's done in UDFA, with the coaching hiring and with changing the culture with our team. Pace will be the GM of the Bears for a very long time.

Floyd is hardly a bust. Busts are guys like Kevin White, Cade McNown, Stan Thomas, Curtis Enis and David Terrell. Floyd is a good football player that can cover, set the edge and rush the passer. He’s not a pure pass rushing specialist. He’s also managed to score two defensive TDs in three years. Good player not great but nowhere near a bust...

Fangio had him in coverage quite a bit last year especially the first half of the season so i'm very curious to see how Pagano uses him.

No it's not, it's literally 26-38 with zero playoff wins

Nope it's 12-4 but at least you got the zero playoff wins right but it's just his first year so he'll get them.

As fans, we need to do everything we can to protect the fragile ego of St. Ryan

So you're just making up your own stats now? Interesting.

At least you're keeping it football related for a change.

He has done many good things, it's not deniable, but if he fucked up with Trubisky do we want him to pick another QB? If Trubisky is just a middle of the pack QB to me that would be a failure

I mean it would obviously suck if Trubs doesn't show the growth we're all looking and hoping for and becomes a QB that can win playoff games and the big game and it would definitely be a bad mark for R.Pace. What i'm saying is he will not lose his job or be judged by that one single draft pick. He's done so much good for this team that drafting a good but not great QB will not hurt how he's looked at by most Bears fans.

Grading the first week of the Chicago Bears 2019 free agency

The first week of free agency is in the books. How did general manager Ryan Pace do? Click here to find out.
By Aaron Leming Mar 18, 2019, 8:23am CDT

The first week of the 2019 NFL offseason is in the books. As we’ve been accustomed to each year, many names were on the move, including a bevy of moves for general manager Ryan Pace and the Chicago Bears.

Normally, we see crazy money fly around. This year was no different and quite possibly even more lucrative for free agents than it has been at any point in the past. The difference this year is that the Bears weren’t involved with the big names on the market for what feels like the first time in forever. That’s not to say the team didn’t make their fair share of moves, but it wasn’t to the same caliber as we’ve come to expect from this franchise.

Even so, I wouldn’t exactly call that a bad thing for Pace and the Bears. As we’ve learned many times in the past, “winning” the offseason doesn’t always translate to winning consistently on the field. Which is why fans should be A-O.K. with the Bears approach so far in March.

With all of this mind, how exactly did Pace grade out in his first week of the 2019 new league year? Let’s find out.

Yes he will. If Mitch fails nothing else matters and he’s just another failed Chicago Bears GM who couldn’t find us the answer at QB.
