No one wants Hill. If Robinson Chirinos was hitting in the minors this season he'd be the backup to Soto by now.

I know, I was joking. And Chirinos is hitting in the minors this year. He's hitting .314/.402/.593 with 14 homers. Welington Castillo's doing okay in AAA too, but both are way better than Hill. I don't even know how he's on this team.

Ely was sent down after the Cubs made him give up 6 runs in 2.1 innings. Monasterios has been shifted around from starter to bullpen and has been decent, but they want to add Lilly for a starter with experience, I guess.
They don't really need him, but he would probably improve their rotation a bit.

yeah, seriously. i'd even toss in nady or baker.
i'm not sure how great johnson is defensively, but he has a solid bat and it would be near impossible for him to have less range than theriot.

Twins talking to the Cubs about Geovany Soto. I don't get this and the Twins just traded there minor league catcher yesterday. The Cubs will get one of there top spects, Aaron Hicks but they have enough of OF.
