At the time Kopitar or any player from that route were in question.

ANYONE who says they'd have taken Kopitar is full of shit. Hind sight is a wonderful thing.

And I agree 100% on the rest. Who knows where this team would be had they drafted Kopitar verses Skille.

Kane, Toews, winning the Cup? Who knows.

Not all top 10 draft picks are rock stars so anyone that says they "expect more from a 7th round draft pick" is once again full of fucking shit.

Just because you are drafted in the top 10 does not make you an instant super star.

*Raising my Hand*

I wanted Kopitar all along. From the reports I had been reading about him, he was considered to be a solid pick with all-around ability. The fact that he was from Slovenia hurt his draft status. I had never seen Kopitar but from what many "respectable" scouts were saying, he could be in the top 5 if he wasn't from Slovenia.

I also believe my first post AFTER we took Skille was....

SHOULD HAVE TAKEN KOPITAR!!!!

Then it was in my signature for the longest time on the O's.

At least 10 NHL GM's disagreed with you.

And thank god we didn't because that Cup we just saw probably never happens!

Nah, it probably would have happened if you figure in that Kopitar was drafted in 05 and didn't play in the NHL till 06-07, so Toews we still would have drafted more then likely. Probably would not have seen Kaner though.

Yeah, and about 4 of those GM's can say they have had any relative success since then.

Depends on what you consider success.

2 Cup winners.

They also were not in the 4 I was speaking of.

So then 6 of the teams had relative success.

You could say the Kings were not one of them considering last year was the first year they've made the playoffs in a long long time.

Looking at that draft there are a lot of spuds in there.

Again hind sight is a wonderful thing to have.

In his latest drivel he supports moving some combination of Brouwer, Skille, Lalonde, or Beach to the Islanders for Wiz and draft picks/prospects because Wiz is the kind of leader this team is missing.

Really? We need the guy that cheap shotted his friend and former team mate and "core" player back for leadership and team chemistry?

Oh dear. For some reason, as much as he has it in for Skille, he absolutely loves Wiz.

Right...trade Brouwer and Skille....1.5mil....and get a Dman making 3.25mil...not sure where they'd get the extra 1.75mil to fit that

Oh...and throw in a Beach or Lalonde to get it done....LMAO - for a guy that'll be here 1 year tops.

What a fucking idiot. Oh, and Skille has no hockey ability, but has trade value to get that done?

Maybe he's related to "I mis Wiz"....?

While I agree with some of what he wrote in the first article Rosy can go **** himself. Just because he has a keyboard doesn't mean he can write about the game.

Maybe he and Rozner can screw each other without lube.

Then what his Hjarlmarsson? Yikes!

Wiz leads his team with 12pts in 14 games.

Hjarlamrsson makes 400k more and doesn't have a point yet.

Foolish, I tell ya. That just showed what kind of a moron that guy is.

If they're going to bring in a 3.25 million dollar guy, they need to move a bigger contract out.

That would mean...Keith (no)....Campbell(to big of a hit..so no).......Seabrook or Hjarllmarsson would be moved.

Personally, I wouldnt mind Nik going. Dont hate the guy or anything...but I think with Leddy/Lalonde....one of the top 4 will have to be going shortly.

But I wouldnt want Wiz back if they moved Hjarlmarsson. I dont think a big move is necessary. Maybe a 3rd line winger tops...but I'd wait until Bolland gets back/few games under his belt fefore deciding this team needs to trade someone away.

The last thing this team needs is ANOTHER trade.

+1. Without a DOUBT!

Agreed. I'm not sure what problems that the Hawks have could be solved by a trade.

It's early and salvation lies within.
