That's the only thing that concerns me, and really only insomuch as seeding.

I find it unfathomable to think this team wont finish 1-8, I'd just prefer 1-4.

God please don't let that happen someone from the Central Division needs to beat them. Though a Vancouver vs Atlanta SC finals would be great. Buff with his big ass in front of Luongo (you'd have to be an idiot to not make that roster move) and Ladd beating up Kesler some more.

Okay I approve of the Nucks going to the SC finals ONLY if they play the Thrashers, other than that no dice. Lose in the 2nd round to a central division team.

If the nucks make the finals against the thrashers, it's as good as over. the nucks only loose to NY teams in the finals.

But Luongo cant beat Buff in the playoffs. Buff > any NY team.

17 Game Mark....09-10

CHI - 10-5-2 - 22pts

DET - 9-5 -3 - 21pts

CLB - 9-6-2 - 20pts

NASH - 8-8-1- 17pts ..............right where CHI is this year

STL - 6-7-4 - 16pts

VAN/PHX were both 10-7 (20pts)....finished 3/4 in the conference....a whopping 3pts ahead of where CHI is this year.

There was some stat out there, where in the 17gms played this year, Hawks have given up 18goals either within the first/last minute of a period and after a goal themselves. Thats play that is correctable. It's not that they suck and are getting worked over.

You better hope the East can rob teams in the West. It would be interesting to compare those records of STL, DET, and CHI to see how many "2 point games" are being squandered to the other conference (as well as gained).

I have no concrete numbers in front of me, but it appears the West had a dominating grip on the East on head to heads last season.

I had a point in here somewhere.

Only problem with the above (pmxc's stats) is where was the rest of the Central at that same point? I'm too lazy to look but I'd have to think every other team is on pace to have an increase in points compared to last year.

We all know hiccups are easier to withstand later in the season when a team already has a pile of point to lean on. I'd rather not see the team entering January having to chase down 3-5 clubs.

To just make the playoffs? If they are in January and sitting in 13th spot, Q should be fired.

CAL, DAL, TB....all had more points than CHI has at this point last year - and missed the playoffs...I know NASH and MTL had the same and less at this time - made the playoffs.

Exactly. We can't keep giving away games like this so early in the season and think it's no big deal because there's plenty of time to make them up. We should be 12-4-1 right now at a minimum - that's 8 points we've given away.

Then what should DET be right now? Did they give any away? STL? VAN?.....I didnt realize the Hawks won every single game last year that they were supposed to, or that teams dont have good/bad stretches. Not that I thought 8-8-1 is a horrible stretch to have to dig out from...lol.

Clearly the rest of the league didn't read kerfuffle's script... either that or they are ad-libbing, and he... is... MAD.

I love the whole "we should have X number of wins" argument.

I like the "we" part the best. I know I sometimes fall into that but Fluff makes it sound so personal, as if he's playing for the Hawks. Maybe Fluff is really Jordan Hendry or John Scott??

well St. Louis will go 13-1-2 and well be 13pts behind. Season over.

Thank you - all I ask for is fairness. Since you've completed your investigation and found me to be innocent of the charges hopefully this can stop coming up. I believe RK owes me an apology though.

So BHP is the head of IHNCIS?

Depends. He spends most of the time in the IHNJOHN taking a shit.

Is that a crime scene complete with the yellow tape across the bathroom entry way?

I was thinking of hooking up ski-ball tickets that reflect how many pounds of poo slide from your butt cheeks into the toilet.
