Near the end of it all, I always wondered, even while it was going on (the second championship run) why the Bulls didn't bring in Charles. At least one time I remember the Bulls needing another big and Charles being available. With his relationship to Mike, at the time, I never quite understood why Charles never joined the Bulls. Would have been interesting.

They didnt need Barkley. And I doubt Jordan wouldve been able to stand Barkleys work ethic. And unwillingness to play defense. I believe Jordan told Pippen not to play with Barkley cuz Barkley wasnt commited to winning. Just his stats.

I am speaking of perimeter play...what Pippen did to Magic you cannot do to any player on the perimeter. Of course Lebron had to get physical in the post, that is allowed.

I would think you and Nimrod would know that. Hand checking, bumping a player like that...today, Pippen would have fouled out of the game before halftime.

Okay goofball. I know you don't watch much basketball...at least from your analysis...but there is a difference...a huge difference between guarding Ewing as a result of a switch and guarding Ewing outright. EVERYBODY guarded Ewing if that is the case. THAT IS WHY THEY PLAY A 2 MAN GAME! Not once did I see Phil Jackson tell Pippen to guard Ewing or Hakeem or anyone else as his primary assignment for a set amount of time. I am sure given the resources, I can find tape of Jordan doing the same thing. Again, your being an idiot about this is a given....but try to ACT as if you have watched the game before. Nobody would watch Ewing guarded by Pippen in the paint and not consider that an instant mismatch. That would not have been the case with Lebron...because Lebron is just as big as Ewing was...showing a tape of Pippen guarding Ewing within the context of the game is futile. What was Pippen supposed to do? Run away screaming? Bird, Dominique...all of them guarded Ewing under those circumstances.

Which brings me to Lebron...Pippen could go to the post and keep Howard from getting his position? Hell no...he couldn't do that with most NBA centers even thought the position is inept. Lebron is as big or even bigger than NBA centers from 20 years ago. Totally different animal. Not once do I see Pippen successfully keeping Barkley or Ewing from gaining position in the post. You don't think Lebron would have had a higher degree of success against them? Of course he would have.
