Well I'm not taking this girl to Paris or doing anything super fancy as a date tonight, just bowling and some fried chicken and some WWE, but even though this might kind of sound not very classy or literally "low-brow" she is completely into this for an evening plan for us, and I am going to pay for all of it myself even though the chicken is pretty expensive it is a treat for me and she has never even ever had it. Leaving soon after I do a couple hundred push ups and crunches (each) so I have really jacked posture and look powerful for her, I'm wearing a buttoned down plaid shirt with my favorite tank (halve-tiger-halve-cobra graffiti-styled) underneath, skinny chinos and a fitted grey baseball cap with no logo, and my burgundy vegan leather bomber, so I am literally dressed to be sexed. Wish me luck guys and thanks to you who didn't troll me and actually gave good tips.

Hey man I just mentioned it in passing as a joke about giving Vick advise, that maybe you are not the most qualified guy when it comes to women. I'm sorry man I was just making a harmless joke, the last thing I wanted was to get you all worked up.
These guys that weren't around when that thread was active and are just curious, for me it was so long ago I really don't remember the details. You had a female friend who was in a romantic relationship with another guy, you were in the friend zone, and wanted to be the romantic interest in her life. She may have taken advantage of the deep feelings you had for her, so she made some attempts to get money out of you. The way I remember it you came here to ask for advice and received unanimous calls to "dump her, she was using you". It took some time, you were in love, but eventually came around and moved on. I'm sorry if dredging all this up is rough, I know it was a difficult time, and maybe it was a little insensitive of me to mention it even as a joke, the last thing I expected was a bunch of guys calling you a pussy whipped cuckold. Sorry again.
BTW your advise to Vick was very sweet.

Pro tip for warden: sometimes playing your hand closer to your chest on a sports message board is a good idea, unless you feel you can take the heat.

People ask for advice about things all the time here, is it so wrong to lend a hand to them without being absolute dicks after helping them out. Sure it's a sports message board but aren't we all people who just might have things going on? I just don't see the benefit of running someone down for asking advice. I just think maybe running someone else down makes others feel better about themselves. It's really twisted. I'll never go down that path. Bravo to those who do it and are able to live with themselves.

You've always had a great sense of humor about your problems, from the ass boil, to the friend zone, to the women's clothing. You are a very open guy, sometimes that gets you some grief. I think having a guy like Warden around helps keep CCS interesting. I only hope he doesn't start clamming up now.

Some grief? SOME? I can take my fair share of ribbing but why bring up ancient history? It really makes no sense to me. The wardrobe shit doesn't bother me, most of it is funny and a lot of it isn't true but the thread I posted about that was serious. It was about a 13 year friendship that had to be thrown away.
I'll stop whining now. I won't address any further comment on the matter.
