This is a pretty good read.

How many GM's have the Bears gone through that have drafted busts at QB?..Until you can point to a successful GM that picked us some "elite" QB's, then I will be wary of how the Bears draft em. facts are facts..The Bears are shitty at drafting QB's...prove me wrong

Because "the Bears" don't draft players, employees of the company do, and the employees are completely different now. There's absolutely no logical reason to believe that past GMs' performance affects Emery's. How the hell does it?

No. The Bears GM's have been bad at drafting QB's. Jerry Angelo's failures have zero to do with Emery.

But every "employee" the Bears have had in the GM not had success at drafting elite QBs..So why should it change with Emery?.. When I see a different pattern, then I will believe..But until then, I want some insurance at least with Cutler at the helm, that we wont slip back into the Cade McNown days

Because he's better than the other ones?

You want to see a new pattern but don't want to take the step needed for a new pattern to start.

Take the start..I agree...but keep what ya got in case Emery fits the mold of every other GM the Bears have hired. Based on the past, its highly likely he will fit that mold nicely

Emery could sign a proven vet like Carson Palmer for less the value of Cutler and fill in other spots as well. My idea wins.

All the more reason not to trust either of you when it comes to quarterbacks.

I like Brandon Marshall, but that doesn't mean that he's going to wig out if Cutler gets let go. Also, quit lumping me in with other posters like I'm a part of some hivemind or something. If you need something to do, go find that post where I called you a "cutler hater."

For $19 million.

My plan is better. My vet doesn't cost that much and lets you fill in other positions.

Cutler is proven under Trestman..Palmer isnt..What has Palmer done to justify starting over Cutler?? I'll take Cutler anyday

Again FT...We just disagree..Im not gonna argue any longer

No, they aren't. You HAVE to let go of this video game/movie mindset. It isn't reality. The NFL is a business. An elite skill position player isn't going to sacrifice his entire career to follow a lesser QB around from team to team. Please let that nonsense go.
