8-4 and allow opponent score 100ppg and Wade injured badly???

If they made it to Eastern Conf Finals will be a miracle.

They had a rough patch in the regular season last year, and didn't exactly finish that well either. Then they breezed right out through the Eastern Conference winning every series 4-1.

Ok that's a little bit of embellishment. They didn't exactly breeze through every series, save maybe the Boston series which had a hobbled KG & Rondo playing with 1 arm. Philly played them hard in every game in their series. And we were in every game in that series. It all came down to key plays in the 4th & experience in tight playoff games. Lebron & Wade knew how to handle it. Rose didn't. And that's why Miami went on to the Finals.

I appreciate TCO's optimism, seeing as how he's probably the only person other than myself who picked us to win it all, but Miami doesn't suck & Philly is not going to keep this up all season. Wade going down is HUGE, something I called at the beginning of season, & it's going to tire Lebron & Bosh out, which gives us a better advantage come playoff time.

To win the championship it demands dedication and hard work.

Chicago has this quality in every single player.Miami dont. The only thing in basketball that can be worked no matter what players you have is defense. To defend well you must work a lot and be 100% focused during the game.It is where you understand if a team work hard and if players are focused in the game. When you have LBJ,Wade,Bosh and you allow 100ppg you SUCK.You will never win the championship. That simple. And stats showing it too.Miami go to last years finals because they SHOULD go to the finals.Refs did their work well whenever Chicago had a lead of 10-15 points all of the sudden Miami had 20 free throws to tie the game. They failed in the finals so this year it wont be the same.

4 "fouls" in one and a half minute. That means miami has free throws from the next foul.Everyone who show this understood what happened last year.

I was wrong about all that you say in this thread would be funny at the end of the season.

It takes no more than two quarters for thread to become funny.

wheres all this noah hate coming from? i understand we're about 1/4 through the season but it seems to me that 60%-70% of ALL players have been underachieving. even more surprising is all this love for spencer hawes all of a sudden. the guy has made the jump from mediocre to half-decent and that makes him better than noah? cmon guys, i think noah deserves more credit than that. give the guy a break, he'll turn it around

there's not a bad argument for hawes>noah

hawes has been good for a month, noah was better than hawes is now for all of last season and the one before. just because the guy can shoot 3s doesnt make him better. and i dont want to come off as hating on hawes, i like the guy and can respect what hes done with his game, but hes only been doing it for such a short period and noah has had 2 seasons under his belt as being a top center in the league (above average, at least). hawes has been on a mini-tear so far but its only a matter of time before noah gets it together.

Hawes vs. Noah? :lmao:

Hawes is not that great. The dude is 7-0 & big & he's a career 5.7 rebounder. That's pitiful. Noah's 2 previous seasons he's averaged a dub-dub & has been the best offensive rebounder in the league. There really is no debate other than Hawes has post-moves.

except noah is pretty awful right now..hawes has been playing a bit better

this has nothing to do with career...this is about now

hawes can stretch the defense with his offensively, is a great passer, good defender too...is actually a good rebounder PER36(i dont like per36 but i think this holds volume)

he's really young still too..only 23....

i said there was an argument...i never said hawes was implicitly an overall better player

Actually Childress is pretty decent. Idk why he's buried down in the Phoenix bench. Did he even play today?

Ok, so 1 player is playing the best ball of his career & the other the worst of his career. I still don't really see the debate. Sure Hawes is playing better now, but Noah is starting to get it going. I'm just tired of all these trade our bigs threads & posts.

Everyone seems to be treating this season like its a normal season, when it's anything but. Every player is going to have struggles with this schedule & Thibs is doing his best to keep everyone fresh. If a player doesn't have it going that night, he's riding the guys who do. And right now it is working out fine. Yes the bigs need to play better, in particular Noah, but all these knee-jerk trade rants are getting pretty ridiculous.

i dont think hawes has nearly peaked...i dont think he's going to regress much...again he's only 23

noah will get better of course...but that doesnt mean there isnt an argument for hawes here

i'm not even a bulls fan honestly lol

and you cant really trade boozer and/or noah at this point..not alot of options..you're kinda stuck

they both have their glaring issues...could be worse though...also helps when you have rose as your PG
