I don’t care if he struggles at least its our future learning on the job.

This. Trubisky obviously has the ceiling and intangibles. It will be rough going, but he cannot be any worse. Hopefully, whenever he plays, he can elevate those around him. Get him in and let him learn. This offense is prime for someone with his accuracy and ability to move around

LOL. First thing he said was. Not much has changed since I talked to you last night. Open up to questions. He's not announcing anything.

Understood, but the only reason to name him starter to the public would be to appease the fan base now instead of the 9th.. Which, like others have said, they might have to if they want the stands filled.

Fox is just doing his normal Fox thing - nothing letting the opponents know who is starting until he has to.....Vikings already know that Trubisky is starting, just say it already..

It's happening. This is the first time Fox hasn't committed to Glennon all year. Fox is just being Fox with not announcing it.

John Fox is saying no starter has been named at QB, privately sources saying Trubisky.

I have a source who is close to the UNC coaching staff. Trubisky has been told he's starting Monday. He has requested tickets for coaches.

He also pretty much said, I haven't told them yet and I'm going to tell them before I tell the world.

Waddle saying he's 99% certain the change is being made. This has got to be a done deal. Wonder what they will do about receiver position. I think they made a mistake getting rid of Gentry and holding onto Bellamy. Hopefully that gets corrected. Gotta be a deal to be done out there any receiver deep teams that need a draft pick?

I heard an interesting point from one of the radio shows today.

If you want to land one of the top candidates in the coaching search having tape on Trubisky is huge. Trubisky is going to be a big part of landing the next coach and I am sure he will want to see him.

If Trubisky progresses and plays well, the Bears would vault to the top of the vacancies.

How will they gameplan for Trubisky?

I'm willing to bet at least 20% of his preseason passes were designed rollouts to cut half the field off and minimize his decision making while utilizing his mobility. The defense would have to be in containment or spy more instead of rush. Irregardless, why give the opponent any nod to what you're doing besides to appease the fanbase?
