I really hate these dumbass ghost shows. Ghost hunters, paranormal U etc etc.

Watching these shows is like jerking off and stopping just short of the payoff. Because they never do and never will get any solid evidence of anything and in the previews and "up next" segments always show shit like they really found something, then you find out oh, Mario and Luigi's left testicles simultaniously itched, it must be a poltergeist.

I agree with you sir.

American Horror Story - I was not over-analyzing... they are definitely paying homage to classic horror films. Love it.

Yay someone else likes it too (and I'm in excellent company)!

Are you enjoying the horror film homage? So far I've noticed Psycho, Halloween, The Strangers, The Shining, trying to think of other moments... fun stuff.

So excited for Walking Dead too!

yeah and it is definitely keeping me intrigued especially Jessica Lange's character who seems to be the ring leader of the crazies lol

And i just finished season 1 of walking dead so i too am looking forward to season 2 on sunday!

Also saw a couple commercials for Grimm which looks kind of interesting as does Once Upon A Time, so i'll definitely be checking those out when they premiere as well

It was a bit slow moving, didn't care for the whole find the girl crap but it lead to the cliffhanger at the end.

Watch the 1st season before starting the 2nd. Buy the 3rd or 4th episode it becomes more about the relationships of the different characters than fighting zombies which is a constant throughout the series.

If your a fan of the genre, you'll love it.

thought the dead was pretty good. i say just kill off the kids and get it over with.

if i had to pick a person to hang with on that show, it would be the grizzled chopper-riding country dude. he just doesn't give a ****, awesome.

The only thing disappointing about the series is that it doesn't follow the graphic novels very close at all, which is disappointing because that is far and away some of the best writing ever. And your Grizzled Chopper-riding brother... he's already dead in the book.

It's a great show though, obviously slow but that's how they do it, spend a long time building a shitload of story up, then it all explodes at once, I'm interested in seeing how the farm storyline works out, I hope they get it the story back on track.

lol grizzled chopper riding dude is Norman Reedus, i love him he was my favorite in Boondock Saints I was happy when i found out he was in walking dead but yeah that was a good first episode for season 2. The "herd" going through in the first 20 minutes made the whole middle of the episode seem slightly boring but I definitely gasped at the end, i knew something bad was gonna happen but i guess i wasn't expecting that.

I watched that talking dead show afterwards and the writer of the comic was on and he said he purposely deviated from the comics because if the show followed the comics the people that read the comics would know everything that would happen and it would ruin the suspense for those people

And I think that's dumb, I must be the anomaly. The comics were so amazing I wanted to see how it came to life. Of course some of it they probably couldn't do because people would be outraged to see those things on TV, but the reason I was so excited was because I wanted to see his comic vision come to life. I could care less about knowing what happen. Just like Game of Thrones, it's so great and it's going to continue to be great, even though I've read most of it now.
