And I think that's dumb, I must be the anomaly. The comics were so amazing I wanted to see how it came to life. Of course some of it they probably couldn't do because people would be outraged to see those things on TV, but the reason I was so excited was because I wanted to see his comic vision come to life. I could care less about knowing what happen. Just like Game of Thrones, it's so great and it's going to continue to be great, even though I've read most of it now.

Agree.

I'd have been pissed if they changed say the LOTR trilogy just so people didn't know what was going to happen next. Yeah it wasn't verbatim by the book, but pretty close for a film adaptation.

I haven't read Walking Dead, but I probably will at some point. My daughter just got a Kindle, maybe I'll try to download it.

Another very good example. I think honestly it may be a canned BS answer to why so many things have changed. They had a shit ton of problems with AMC and a lot of the writing. I am not sure if Darabont ever came back. I think because of the large expenses of zombie hoards and big outdoor production sets and such they had to give in on some things which changed the path of the story. But that still doesn't explain why they went to the CDC, why Shane is alive, and why the **** Daryl is there. None of these are spoilers because who knows what is going to happen, and things happen in the books so fast that nothing is really a spoiler. Anyone who has the opportunity to read them, I highly suggest it. Just don't get comfortable with any of the charecters.

It's a graphic novel. Unless she got the Kindle Fire it won't look good even if its available (I don't think it currently is)

Yeah, I wasn't sure if you could do it either.

I was going to ask about Darabont... he's still listed in the credits, but I thought he was let go?

I didn't see if it was a "created by" acknowledgement, but I think his name flashed twice. Wouldn't that would be a lot of name attachment for someone no longer involved?

I didn't follow up on the story much after it broke, but it's probably a created by credit or something that they can't ditch him from because he and Kirkman brought it to AMC together. And with the Lawyers at work on it still who knows how long it will take to fully remove him. haha

Watched the premiere of Once Upon a Time tonight, I liked it. Very interesting parallel between the real life and fairy tale characters i think it will continue to be very interesting!

Last article I read said the first 3 to 6 he was still involved in, after that - it's the head writer producing solo and an assurance it'll still be just as good.

Being out of town - I'm 2 eps behind already!

I've watched the first two episodes now and think it's not that great honestly. I had high hopes for it, but I just am not getting into it. At this point I'm trying to figure out if I'll give it a third episode. And what the **** is it doing not in HD on Direct... I'm so tired of their shit.

Also Walking Dead was boring as hell last night too.

Been out of town for the last couple weeks, haven't been able to get any regular tv in. Getting caught up on my regular stuff, it's still on my list.

I saw the premiere of Grimm early thanks to twitter and it wasn't too bad. I am intrigued enough to keep watching and some of the effects were kinda cool. I think these fairy tale shows have some potential (Once Upon a Time too)

I totally spaced that Once Upon a Time was airing last week... gonna have to see where else I can find it (as I hate watching tv shows on my laptop if I don't have to).

On Demand teased me with Grimm as I thought they had the first episode and then I discovered it wasn't the episode just a whole bunch of "special" vignettes on the show.
