Yes, the entire storyline is much better in the book, but it's much different. Andrea isn't there, they don't capture glen and maggie, they already know Michone, the walker games are much better. It was a great episode, but I keep finding them taking elements from the book and then almost dumbing them down for tv. Especially the phone. Which was much better in the book. At this point I wish they'd stop trying to add anythign from the book and just go totally off script and make it it's own thing because it's constantly coming up short in the material and writing from where the book is. The experiments aren't needed... the fling with andrea wasn't needed... the almost rape scene with maggie was just awkward and not done well... It's almost like they cant' decide if they want him to be the maniac that he is or not. The show is good, but they need to shit or get off the pot.

Wow. I haven't read the books and from that perspective I think the whole thing is awesome except Andrea (even though last episode where did those wonderful boobs come from) and Michione who I know is just angry for the sake of being angry....maybe its cuz she's black

Michone in the books is one of the best charecters, in the show they made her a freak. It's really bad. In the books she's just a straight badass and there isn't this whole no talking shit for the most part.

I love the show, but honestly after such a great start, this season has fucking sucked. Just too much everything, you can't have this much go wrong all at once without everyone just dying... it's really getting quite dumb how much they keep piling on. Wendy, cartel getting everything they want then fucking it up, Otto bringing the marshall on them, Bobby pussying out, clay confessing to everythign but somehow living... Juice being dumbass juice... Nero always having to save the day yet he's going to be the one to probably die, Gemma bouncing between them for no reason... it's just tired.

Seriously, theres like 2 episodes left (if its going to be the same amount as last season) and all this new conflict is coming into play.

Next week is the season finally isn't it? They have been running 90 minute episode this season instead of 60... lot's going on. Too much.

SOA SPOILERS

what an uneventful end to Pope. If that was the season finale it was pretty shitty. Nothing got resolved but Pope and he was barely in the entire season.

Maybe I'll give it another shot. I watched the first episode and didn't like it.

I like the "Mankind The Story Of Us All" series on History channel. For what it is it's pretty good refresher on important historical events. I have been enjoying it and watching the time line format of the series.

Yeah way beyond me I only watch a bit before going to bed. Nothing relaxes me more than an interesting documentary. Also the plague episode takes forever. Yes I get it plague bad but the Roman Empire? **** those guys let's start with Jesus.

Yeah I found that funny. The Empire that ruled over more of the world population that any before or since (at its height a quarter of the world population lived within the borders of Rome) and is the foundation of every modern republic and legal system, there is a reason our government buildings are designed the way they are.

I also hated they had the jackass from Havard on there. Henry (I forget his last name) he was the jackass that Obama had over to the WH with the cop for a beer over the professor being a jackass.

So recently I watched the first episode of The Walking Dead again. Jesus that was a great episode. Whoever decided to not use background music through most of the episode was a genius. Just gave you this sense of desolation.

Just (finally) started watching Luther. Loving it. So good. Idris Elba is a fantastic actor and a super, super, super, super, super hot man. Great storytelling, interesting character and not lame, run of the mill stupid crimes. I normally hate crime shows because they are so formulaic and horribly boring and I stop caring about who killed who because there is never any character development. Not the case with this show. This is a cut above.
