Maybe it was just me, but seemed like they really shortened each segment and added more commercials.

Not sure if this should go in the comedian thread or here but the 4th episode of Kroll show was nothing short of brilliance. I wasnt a huge fan of the third episode i enjoyed the 1st and 2nd. His show could grow into something really special if given time to groom by comedy central. icing up the show for extra seasons as they have done is a nice start. Krolls so fucking talented when it comes to character based sketch comedy as is the cast of the show. Im really loving it. Has some Mr Show qualities to it a little SNL and some Kids In The Hall style also. 3 of my fav sketch comedy shows of all time.

So I tried to watch Breaking Bad. I hated it. It was ungodly boring. I made it to episode 7 before just giving up.

Been keeping up with New Girl this year and have to say it's gotten so damned good. Very funny every week. It's stepped it up a notch from last season.

I've been kicking it old school. In highschool I caught episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer but probably never watched it regularly, and know I never saw any beyond season 3.

The show is actually quite addicting and has consumed my days. The first season is a bit cheesy but the writing definitely progresses and gets better. It is also a bit of a nostalgia tour considering I am the same age(and graduation year) as the characters in the show and some of the episodes I remember seeing when I was a kid. Now on season 4, I didnt know Angel started before Buffy ended so, I am actually watching season 1 of that and 4 of Buffy in tandem(episode of one then of the other), some of the episodes actually interconnect between the two shows.

In so many words. She gets less appealing as the series goes on. I like the bubbly 18 year old gellar from season one, now shes all business and in her 20s.

Funny thing about that show in its "highschool years" was the rampant jail bait relationships.

i.e. Angel and Buffy He was allegedly 26 when he vamps out and is over 200, and he starts dating a 16 year old. I don't know about you but I am pretty sure Chris Hanson would walk in with a stake and say have a seat over here. The show didnt seem to have a problem pairing adolescents with adults in romantic relationships, because there were more instances of this concept than just those 2.

It could be a social commentary that as early as 13 or so years ago, our society didn't see as much of a problem with that as they do today.

Funny thing is, only 1 actor on that show was actually a teenager when it started (Gellar at 18). I think then next youngest were Seth Green and Alyson Hannigan at 23/24.

I still can't get over the age of alot of actors playing highschoolers, it boggles the mind. I am 31 and if I played a highschool student, wouldnt be the oldest person to do so on film or television.

I love Spike, especially in the later ones and when he crossed over to Angel. They were two of my favorite shows. I even have the big Angel Smile Time Puppet Doll.

Picnicface was a good sketch comedy show but it either got cancelled because no one liked the odd humour or I just can't find it n tv anymore. Anyone else ever used to watch it? I think it only ran for 2 seasons. If its still out there I would love to know where I can find it.

TCD, you have an interesting sense of humor. Seems like they're trying too hard to be weird. Definitely would have to be on something to enjoy this.

i blame montey python for my tastes in humour and love for sketch comedy that is a bit off the wall and full of nonsense. i was exposed to python really young and it instantly caught my attention and imagination even though i was too young to fully understand the jokes and the compexities...those parts i understood as i matured so each sketch kept growing more and more as i returned to them.Python to me is the most important sketch comedy troop of all time. i believe they influenced every sketch comedy troop on television that came after. python..kids in the hall..mr show will always be my fav sketch comedy shows. i like that formula in sketch comedy where there are no rules and absurdity in writting and character with subtle pop culture references.

I very much appreciate and love Monty Python. Kids in the Hall had its moments of brilliance. I really wish The Vacant Lot would've made it. I loved that show, but it was very short lived. One of my all time favorite sketches came from that show. The one thing I find interesting about sketch comedy, or comedy in general is my mood while watching greatly determines whether I'll like it or not.

I've been digging this one, too - Kroll has a real gift for "becoming" other characters and for satire. The Bobby "Bottleservice" ones are great, but my favorites are the one's with the LA Dog plastic surgeon... on a related note, it amazes me just how young Andy Milanakis still looks.

Been watching the Following as well, first ep was a little slow, but the main villain is outstanding and I really love the literary tie-in with Poe.

I hate reality TV, but the GF and I have been watching "King of the Nerds" and it's reasonably entertaining although I highly get the feeling that certain outcomes of the show are scripted.

The other "reality" based one we've been watching is "Ghost Mine" - the two paranormal researchers get on my nerves a little bit (I hate when there's not enough skepticism on those shows) but the segments on mining are actually quite interesting to me.

I had to look up how old he was and i almost did a spit take. 37? Thats crazy. he def looks like he is 17-18 if not younger. He kills me on the Kroll Show. Kroll show gets better and better by episode. I loooove the C-Czar character and the Oh Hello guys. Last nights episode was my fav of the season so far.

I watched my first episode of King Of The Nerds last night. I gotta say I was pretty entertained by it. Def scripted as most reality shows are. I don't know why King Of The Nerds was so entertaining. It wasn't because of the exploited nerdines of the kids on the show..I think it's more of the hidden genius in the kids that's so interesting. The challenges are pretty funny to I suppose. And any show Booger hosts you gotta like. Don't know if I could watch a full season of it just because reality shows lose my interest after a few episodes but as far as a time filler it looks like a pretty fun show.

Yeah, that dude is almost 40 and can easily pass for 16-18. The "Oh Hello" guys are just such a terrific spoof of Larry David.. I love how they've created all these brands that carry through and reference other sketches as well (the publicity girls, the chick-fil-a restaurant and the hardware chain).

Yeah, I think what appeals to me the most regarding King of the Nerds is just how socially awkward a few of the people are - Virgil seems to straight-up have some kind of Autism while Moogega appears to be one of the most normal people in the bunch. It's interesting to see how they interact with eachother. Although I'm tired of Danielle's shit - she gets pissy when the attention isn't always on her and then bitches about backstabbers when she's probably the worst culprit of them all.

I watched an episode of King of the Nerds and thought it was horrible... Booger was trying way to hard to be funny and failed, and Lewis seemed to not have clue what was going on most of the time. The nerds were just whiny bitches.

To be honest I like the trashy production values in reality shows. The trashier production value the better.
