If this doesn't get people to stop wasting there time on you, I don't know what will. We signed Scott Fucking Hairston to basically nothing, he didn't even do well, and we flipped him for a pitcher with upside. What in the living fuck does that have to do with wasting seasons. Was there another bench playing outfielder you saw last off-season that you think would have led us to the fucking playoffs, and didn't need to be traded for a prospect? Holy fucking shit.

I'm confused at the "Turd Wood" stuff. Dude is top 10 in the NL in ERA, and was obtained for Sean Marshall...a lefty specialist reliever who's pitched all of 7 innings this season. Why the hate? B/c it was a good Theo move? Or b/c you think his ERA is overrated after 21 games this season?

The fact that you think signing a shitty bench OF that got traded for a shitty minor league pitcher is an improvement over a quality major league OF who could help the team for multiple seasons is one of the dumbest things ever written on a sports message board.

Having an entire team full of bench players cost the Cubs a chance at a winning season.
Hairston is just one of many.
Probably 6 of the Cubs everyday starting 8 would be bench players on most teams around the league.

Playing almost exclusively as a platoon player, because he is basically useless against LHP.
And yet his WAR which you guys think is such a great stat is currently behind such perennial All Stars in RF as Ryan Rayburn, Will Venable, Marlon Byrd and David Lough and is in the bottom half of RF's ranked at 18th.
Because he stands out on this shitty team does not mean he stands out around the league.
