Yes that is correct but he's coming off a major injury and missed all of camp last year with another significant injury. So he had two injuries that hurt him last year.

Add to it Cody Whitehair's trouble with snapping the ball leading to turnovers if injuries or turnovers derail one of them..... Yuck.
Even with that, he will outpeform Mustipher. Dude was really bad

Whitehairs grades at C were leagues above Mustipher, even with a few botched snaps. Mustipher is training camp fodder in Baltimore and won't make it to September

Between Whitehair and Patrick (yes, I know both get injured), plus maybe Kramer (still unknown), I wouldn't touch Mustipher with a 10 feet pole. Maybe, just maybe, if the injury bug hits hard, then I'd consider him for the practice squad...

Other than that, good riddance, Sam Mustipher. Thanks for your years of "service".

@DanielCCSBears, do better, please.

Having a backup center/guard who has 40 games worth of starting experience and who has remained healthy and is still young is better than resetting the developmental clock with late round developmental draft picks who have no experience at all. My column.

Sam Mustipher earns high praise from John Harbaugh after he played well with the Ravens in week two. Looks like I was right again.

In the first sentence of the second last paragraph of this article the author seems to have missed the 's' on the end of hold. Given the subject matter is Sam Mustipher and Lucas Patrick, this seems like a significant omission. Also, in the same sentence, a comma after Chicago should have been used as the author is using coordinating conjunction to connect independent clauses. Article is a bit like the Bears, lacking in execution and attention to detail.

Carter played a pretty decent game
