I'm with you.
Again, the interwbz is full of bloggers and such that are cloaked as "reporters."
Which reporters are slandering Kane to the point in which they need a career change?
Where does the reporting stop an editorializing begin? I honestly think there are lines drawn in the sand, but I also think people have gotten to the point where they'll believe any narrative that suits their position.

At least Italianbeef consults with rape attorneys before blogging about on CCS.

I can trust the supports that your stance, eh?

And I'm the delusional one? **** outta here.

Do you believe the leak that says Kane has been accused of rape? The DA never said that.

How about the cop who drove him home? Don't believe that one either?

Bite marks and scratches? You said "this looks bad for Kane". It was a leak.

The only thing the DA has said about the Kane investigation is that there is one about an incident that occurred in his home on August 2, and he is part of it.

Actually no, some people said not to read sportsmockery or read Niagara falls reporter because their online paper looked like shit (because appearance is everything) unfortunately for them, it looks like the Tim Graham's, mark Giangreco's and Julie dicaro's of the world were dead wrong, you know the "award winning and credible" tim graham.

With that being said, the case still isn't over with but looking like a giant pile of shit
When I want excellence in reporting I go to a website that has a word that means, 'behavior or speech that makes fun of someone or something in a hurtful way.' The point is, again, that sportsmockery took Kane's side right from the start, even before anything came to light. And while you may criticize Tim Graham or Julie Dicaro (I did not hear Giangreco's comments, so I won't comment on him) they never once said Kane was guilty.

Funny how the press is no longer reliable when the leaks start turning the tide towards Kane.

No, Graham just said that Kane was one of the first guys he'd think of if asked the question "who from the world of sports do you think is most likely to rape someone"?

My words for that I don't think I'm going to believe sources FOR THE REST OF THIS CASE. Which means from this point forward. And I remain skeptical about everything I've read before hand. Saying something "looks bad for Kane" does not change that fact. Again, **** outta here with this shit.

That's been going on for eons. It's also why I very rarely watch any "news" organizations. When I do, it's PBS or foreign sources that (hopefully) don't also have a major bias. EVERYTHING is spun to a certain degree. My eternal quest is to find what spins the slowest...then take it with a few grains of NaCl.

I think it's hilarious that this thread is mimicking the sentiments that I heard on the score this morning. Goff was getting all sorts of twitter and facebook threats for 'now being wrong in the face of this new info'

people were telling him he needs to apologize for 'going after Kaner' and that he better watch his back.

hilarious and disgusting that people are following this case as if it were a sporting event and investing themselves in it so much, to boot.

btw, Goff and most at the Score never 'went after kane' at all, but rather, went after people that attacked the credibility of the accuser. Guess those people may turn out to be 'right' that the accuser did not in fact get raped, but what is it that they win? A drunken cab ride with their favorite hockey player?

Interesting comments last night on sportstalk, one of which stating nobody thinks poorly of Ben Roethlisberger...accused twice of sexual assault before finally getting married. Kane needs a wife.

And then that idiot on ESPN, think the show is second opinion?. Him and a few others suggesting Kane shouldn't play is ludicrous.

Taking himself out of the game by some mutual agreement with Hawks brass is akin to an admission of guilt.

Wish this shit would just go away, I'm sure Kane agrees.
