The problem is that everyone in the world feels a need to pick a side these days, so everyone quickly rushes to judgment one way or the other and entrenches themselves in that camp.
I don't understand what's so wrong with people admitting that they don't have a fucking clue about what happened that night or what will happen with this case. There's nothing wrong with that
I feel like most of us took the position of wait-and-see.... we had at least one person rushing to judge her as a false accuser...
My only gripe was Kane getting labeled a rapist before any evidence was available, before any charges were considered, before a Grand Jury could see anything, before the rapekit was processed.... it was published "Patrick Kane Accused of Rape" and in the public court of opinion that made him a rapist to plenty of people and it made his accuser a slutty gold digger to many people. In a sensitive case like this, nothing should have been announced unless charges were filed.
