We agree on something, were both Cubs fan. OMG, lol.

Yeah maybe not but just everything you say turns into an argument. I honstely don't know why. I guess it's you and that has argument written all over it. If you said, "Castro will be the Cubs SS in 2011." They will be like how do you know that because you don't. That's just a bias statement. That probably will happen, but I wouldn't know why.

No, that wouldn't happen. He'd be referred to as Captain Obvious (not the member CO), and then he'd get upset and complain to Rush about it.

You said, "supposed to be", not that the Cubs organization thought that, you added that in well after the argument started.

I said he was drafted 13th overall. Unless anyone else but the Cubs Front office/organization drafted him I would say it's a pretty damn easy connection to make.

And Poodski was talking about coming into this season. So why did you even bother?

Poodski said Colvin was "never supposed to be this good" in reference to the Cubs not benching him and calling his 2010 a possible "fluke".

It was a completely wrong statement. Colvin was supposed to be this good. That's why he was drafted 13th overall by the team.

You are oblivious to everything anyone has said.

When he was drafted, eh had those expectations.

But so did Josh Vitters, do you have huge expectations for him?

And that wasn't your original post. :obama:

I said that initiated it, you added that in later, you just proved my point.

Here is my original post:

The hell you can't bench Colvin. Colvin very well could have been a fluke, he wasn't supposed to be this good. You don't just keep him in because.

Colvin was chosen in the 1st round. 13th overall. If anything he was supposed to be "this good" sooner.

Wrong again.

When he was drafted, eh had those expectations.
When did they expire? Before or after he lead AA Tennessee in homeruns and hit .300?

But so did Josh Vitters, do you have huge expectations for him?
:obama: :turrible: :obama: :turrible:

My expectations for Vitters do not matter as I did not draft him.

Try again.

I wouldn't say it is a completely wrong statement, as his 2010 probably was a fluke. He has power, but not 2010 type of power.

1 Question: How is what Colvin was supposed to be relevant to this topic or the Cubs right now?

We can discuss the 1918 World Series we threw to Boston if you want.

Not sure. Ask Pood. I' wasn't the first one who mentioned Colvin.

I'd love to.

I'm a Red Sox fan first and foremost.

I believe that is one of the most poorly attended and biggest farce's of a WS ever.

IIRC the city of Boston barely cared the Red Sox won.

K, let's make a topic and a poll about it then. I read a whole book about it, and we are playing Boston for the first time since that World Series this season.

Incorrect.

We played Boston at Wrigley a few seasons ago. 2005 I believe...could be wrong on the year.

What book did you read?

The Original Curse

And right, I missed that.

Regular Season: 2-1 (.667)
2000's: 2-1 (.667)
Playoffs: 2-4; Boston won the 1918 World Series over the Cubs.
At Wrigley Field: 2-1 in the 2005 regular season matchup; 1918 World Series games played at Comiskey Park.
At Fenway Park: 1-2 (during 1918 playoffs)
At Comiskey Park: 1-2 (during 1918 playoffs)

I haven't put any words in Dews mouth. In fact I've done the exact opposite. I've(repeatedly) given him an opportunity to clarify and explain what he said. And he hasn't.

Too funny. I did clarify but again you like to keep asking over and over again.

I shouldnt take you so serious, I mean anyone who cries about a deleted post is probably a child IMO.
