The only way this makes any sense to me is if we're doing it so we can trade Hjalmarsson. Even then I'd rather have signed someone for 2 million bucks and had the extra 1.4 on the books. I like Oduya fairly well, and he outplayed my expectations by a longshot, but I don't like him 3.375 a year, especially considering that's half our cap room.
