Me? Not at all...

Just wondering how much better a team on the road could've been coached - producing 40 shots would tell me he's getting his players opportunities.

Toews had 7 sog (8 including the post) - yet Babcock shut him down?

He's getting chances - just needs to finish.

But clearly....as you said, it's the coaches. Nothing more.

I just watched that Shaw no goal again. What a terrible call. He never made any contact with Howard, and was continually getting knocked down (interfered) and into the crease - and he was making conscious effort to NOT hit Howard and stay out. He was even bumped by the second Wings defenceman...and still avoided Howard. The ref was right there - terrible, terrible call.

This ^ times a million. That absolutely changed the game. I have no idea what the ref was thinking on that, mostly because they don't actually have to tell anyone which is bullshit. If the zebras are going to suck that bad then every goal in the playoffs should be reviewed by the War Room.

It was unreal Pete...he did nothing to impede Howard from moving to make the save

I can see if Howard moved to his right and made any sort of contact with Shaw...but there was zero. It was pathetic no goal, and he couldn't have been in better position

Now, I get the whole "well Hjarllmarsson hit was a penalty"...but Kane still had to beat Howard (which he did). That play didnt effect the goal - other than there wouldve been a whistle.

But Shaw's....was so bad.

Last thing Im saying about this before I put it behind me.

Wysh from puck daddy was trying to explain to wings fans on twitter that strait up taking a goal away is not equal to a missed crosschecking call where a goal ensued shortly thereafter. As I said right after it happened give them a damn make up PP if you feel you missed a call dont take a freakin goal away. Because at least then they have to EARN the goal like Kane had to EARN the goal following the missed call.

Like I said, we'll never know what the ref was really thinking because they are not obligated to say shit. If I was Q at that point, I would have been on the ice chasing that motherfucker down.

There are so many rules that are bullshit in this league and that midget shyster Buttman has fucked with the game so much in 20 years that I don't think the refs even know what the rules are half the time. Text book definition, Franzen getting hit like that should have been called, but they haven't been calling that shit for over two years so the no-call on Hammer was expected and appreciated. The shit on Shaw's goal is completely unexplainable. They allow goals like that with way more contact on the goalie all the time. Considering all he did was stand in the paint (but never make contact) is a joke.

This league needs a new boss and they need a new Head Official. We all know how big of a joke fucking Shanaban is too. I actually miss Colin Campbell at this point......

That little *****, Buttman, actually fined a HOCKEY GUY (Wilson) for speaking the truth about the Torres hit. He could have said a whole lot worse too. I wish he had.

Shaw did make contact with Howard, his stick hand as the puck sales over it. It's obvious on the slow mow overhead view. I'm a homer too, thought it sucked and feel like Crow/Emory never get the benefit of goalie interference.

Emotions aside, last nights game was probably the most intense game I've seen in the entire 2013 season.

Besides controversial goals, they should review goaltender interference and delay of game in the defensive zone when a player shoots the puck over the glass. I don't know how many times I've seen someone sent to the box when they've deflected the puck off the glass or off an opposing player. It cost the Sharks the other night. Rangers, too.

Of course on the disallowed goal they would've said some bogus shit like, "on further review the offending player was in the blue paint and didn't make an effort to remove himself the area, thus denying the goaltender an opportunity to be in postion to make a save."

Didn't Keenan do that once in a game against the Pens in Pitt? I think Daryl was trying to get him back to the bench as well

Anyone one notice that when we pulled Crawford that Handzus was the 6th man sent out and he immediately lobbed a soft wrister to Howard with no one in front of him. WTF?

Handzus makes Morrison look good.

Emory in now could be a bad one, too long of a lay off to be sharp. So far Crawford isn't losing the game.

I'm guessing Mcgoo was there. There is one official incase needed and the supervisor. Last two games in Chicago it's been McCreary and Mcgoo. **** them all! And no I disagree he ever touched Howard. Howard played the puck, it bounced off of him and onto Shaw, into the net.

For of those of you who werent around during the 80's and 90's what you witnessed last night is what old timers like me used to watch on a nightly basis. It's the reason why I stopped watching NHL games and barely attend anymore. It's embarrassing to no end.

My 2 cents so far in this series is Q really screwed the pooch with his changing of the lineup to start game 1. Hey dumbass, we know you're great but you don't change the lineup when the going is good. So Stalberg acted up. At least he is showing he cares and wants to contribute. And as a lot of you know I wasn't the biggest Stalberg fan. He wears the dreaded #25. But vs Minnesota the 3rd line was our best line. Bar none.

And please find a taker for Dave Bolland when these playoffs are complete. He is a complete waste of 3.5 mil in cap space. He will NEVER be the player he was before the back injuries. Since Troy Murray retired we have never been able to find a second line center. How embarrassing.

I threw a fucking fit when Crow came off the ice and I saw Zeus replace him. That's when I turned to my wife and said "It's over, let's go"
