For someone that says people need to read messages...give a shot you fucking mental giant

I said - the 5 minute major was penalty enough in a playoff game, that gave them the win

You see, playoff games matter yo the players and losing hurts - especially when you're the one that takes the penalty

Have you ever taken a penalty in a meaningful game?

Funny...you never answer about your playing experience with all your wise advice on how players need to play the game and all the changes that need to happen

Go. The ****. Away. You are worse than herpes

Alright, you've been gone a while, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

You are giving "him" the benefit of the doubt? LOL

I never said any of that. I said the opposite as far as the intent of what Seabrook was trying to. I don't think he was trying to knock Backes out. But you still can't make that hit on a player in a defenseless position like that. Backes turned a split second before the hit Seabrook had already comitted to throwing, a hit he has thrown a thousand times in his career. He was a victim of circumstance So his suspension was deserved. BULLSHIT Just because they won the game makes no difference as to whether or not he should get suspended, that's fucking crazy. Really, they gained an advantage from the called penalty on the ice and as a result won the game There's no other argument needed for that, it's just fucking crazy to think like that. Your opinions are crazy. :confusion-scratchheadyellow:

The problem the NHL has isn't that they are suspending more players, it's the consistency in their suspensions. I mean, it has to be done, whether you believe it or not. With as much is being learned and has been learned about head trauma and concussions alone, a standard has to be set by the league. They just aren't consistent with it. If 3 games is the base line, the first punishment for a guy like Seabrook, who had no past history of doing things like that, that's fine. But that's not how they go about doing it when they still give repeat offenders the same amount or nothing whatsoever. That's the real problem. Not that they're suspending players, but the consistency in them.

Benefit of the doubt as far as assuming I had said Seabrook had intent to hit Backes head into the boards. That's what I meant by that.

Again, this has been discussed to death, whether or not Backes ends up with the puck, or doesn't turn, he's still in a defenseless position. If he doesn't turn, he's NOT in a defenseless position? Come on. You can't go in for a hit like Seabrook was going for when a player is in that kind of position. When even Trev of all people can agree on the hit being deserving of a suspension, it's time to stop arguing.

But I have to ask, how in the hell does it matter who wins the game, how does that have ANY bearing whatsoever on whether or not a player should be suspended? That's what I want explained. It being a playoff game is no excuse. In fact, if what's being proposed that because it's a playoff game, that suspensions should be more.....what, lenient? That would be even worse. What kind of message does that send to players? What did we fucking watch 2 postseasons in a row from the same douchebag? What are we watching right now with all the blatant spearing happening and nothing to dissuade it but fines that amount to pennies to these players? What have people specifically here complained about when it comes to postseason discipline?

It's alwaaaaays different when the tables are turned. Always.

Teemu is the most overrated hockey player ever. He got lucky he had guys like Zhamnov and Steve Rucchin to feed him amazing set up passes. Weren't for those two he'd be in the AHL or working at Burger King.

I like how Seabs has been playing since coming back from his suspension. He is shooting the puck a lot which i like to see from him because his shot is under rated. Even just getting those pucks to the net like he has been is so important. Takes the focus off of Keith for one and secondly as I already said his shot is under rated.

Seabs is a strong playoff performer without a doubt. His game elevates to a nice level.

He'd be doing even better if Bickell wasn't stealing goals from him.....They have both been amazing and doing exactly what we need them to do to repeat and establish the dynasty.

Rundblad, Rozsival, Brookbank, Regin, Morin, and Nordstrom all on the active roster, I'm not liking how many second tier players we have active right now. Brookbank has been solid, same with Nordstrom but Rozsival has been not good and Rundblad isn't much better. Regin and Morin haven't seen much ice time yet. I mean it's working so far but it makes me nervous.

Except....most of them will only play in emergency situations. Rozsival has been fine and Brookbank was a champion in those 3 games Seabrook missed. Rundblad isn't much better? No, he's fucking AWFUL. He will be the LAST guy to touch the ice.
