LOL...comparing Cutler to a 2nd year QB

He was 7th in total QBR in 2013 against EVERY OTHER STARTING QB.

He played well in 2013 as did McCown in limited duty.

Go ahead and spin it...remember I never said he was the 7th best QB; I just said he had a solid yr at QB, and obviously he did which is why you're scrambling to argue everything but that point.

I think Ohio State did a good enough job in this case.

You might as well not compare Cutler to McCown anymore just for wasting time if nothing else. Cutler is on the team and McCown is not. It is irrelevant how McCown played in 2013 now.

I asserted that Cutler had a solid/decent yr in 2013, and that was irrespective of McCown's 6 games.

Now I have onebud admitting he played abover average for a starter....close enough for me.

Anything more than that, I just don't care to talk about tbh ITT. Cutler is a mediocre QB who has a tendency to turn the ball over too much. He has a nice yr in 2013 and then regressed a bit in 2014 and seemed to struggle with accuracy down the field a bit. I fully expect someone will be brought in in the next yr or so to replace him in the medium run and hope that person will excel beyond what Cutler has been able to do.

If anyone is really upset by me saying those things they aren't looking at the situation objectively.

If you actually believe that a 6 game run PROVES you can perpetually run a certain system against NFL defenses with all sorts of changing dynamics as to what pieces/health your offense has and which defenses you are facing as well as the fact that the best minds in the sport all are able to watch more and more tape over a longer period to diagnose what you're actually running, you might be beyond help.

I am not a Cutler homer and I think he looked horrible last yr throwing the ball down the field and often unnecessarily threw into coverage.
