hes probably gonna cost too much

and you cant run a lineup of Rose-Lance-Butler-Taj-Noah.....that has zero shooting

i rather trade for Arron Afflalo as a backup plan

Affalo? pretty over-rated.

He's also improved every year he has been in the NBA and his field goal percentage is almost 50% and can hit the three and rebound. I see him as a great fit offensively and defensively. He also plays with a lot of emotion. He find a good home in Chicago.

Gibson has been amazing once again. Clean block called a foul. Super dunk. I love this guy.

Stephenson is a better player and a great fix with Rose.
Eh...idk if he's a better fit. Afflalo can shoot, defend, create his own shot a little. Stephenson is a better playmaker, but can't shoot as well. Give and take I guess.

Funny thing is, I think we can draft a SG this year that would be better than both. amiwrong?

only guys i see being on their level or better is Gary Harris (who i see as Afflalo 2.0) and LaVine (still a year or 2 away)

maybe James Young?

I'm not 100% sure. Because the Bulls have a major hole to address IMO that is not a player position. Unless we get a shooting specialist on the coaching staff, I have little faith in bringing in any shooters to help this team. I think we'll see more of the same. Bring in a guy that had a high fg%/3p% in the season prior, and watch their numbers drop with this team. We signed a player health and conditioning expert, and that had a huge impact on the overall health of the team. Sign a designated shooting specialist, and no matter who we draft or sign in, the whole team benefits. You don't have the 30th FG% in the NBA, and NOT address that coaching position.

P.J. Hairston has seriously slid because he loves driving like a moron. If he has remedied that behavior somehow, then IMO, he would be one of those guys that I think could offer similar production as a rookie, but become even better after a year.

69 points at home when facing elimination? yep, we got bigger problems than the Pacers. Not encouraging for the future, Heinrich/Boozer have to have to have to go and Noah needs to gain 40 lbs of muscle. Is it too late to hope for that? god

I can't stand people that want their team to tank, go root for some other team. Geez, have you ever played a sport?

You don't want your team to potentially get better with a lottery pick? Especially with this years draft class

Wow. All of the negativity. Rose comes back. A top free agent comes in next year. The best player in Europe coming in. Two very good draft picks to add. Two #1 Picks in 2015. Yeah, the Bulls organization really sucks doesn't it.

They are in no position to contend in the East right now. They have to land Melo.

What if they don't land Melo and Rose still comes back good? They have 2 mid-round picks in a Draft loaded in the lottery picks. They are stuck in Basketball hell still.

We will agree to disagree then. They do not have to land Melo to be a good contender. They still will have a lot of room to add a second good scoring option and to improve their bench a lot. I really do not get all of this negativity about the Bulls future. It has been frustrating to me the last couple of years with what the Bulls didn't do after Rose got hurt(twice) and they let a great bench deteriorate. I get that. But I cannot fathom why most people here do not see how bright the future is.

A winning team with a limited bench get bolstered by a very good second scoring option, the best player in Europe, two good draft picks, and the MVP in the league a scant couple of years ago. I'd say that after the smoke clears, the Bulls will be the best team in the NBA.

We might not need to "add" Carmelo Anthony, but this team needs to add a superstar. Period. Would our team get "better" by adding Mirotic, somebody like Jodie Meeks, our two-first rounders and some other fodder? Probably. But that collection of guys isn't going to top Miami if LeBron, Bosh and Wade all re-up. And it won't top Oklahoma City or any other top teams in the West. The goal is to win a championship. Superstars win championships. People need to understand that we have no idea what Mirotic will bring. We have no idea what the rookies will bring. Somebody like Jodie Meeks adds solid complimentary scoring, but I don't see him smashing 40 while being hawked by LeBron in Game 4 of a playoff series.

But Carmelo is going to give you that. Kevin Love is going to give you that. Unless you want to watch a carbon copy of this season, the Bulls need to add another king to their chess board.
