i really hope we dont sign Meeks he had fluke year

would def not want to invest into him at 3m/yr for 3-4 years

if you want a shooter/scorer sign Ben Gordon for the minimum and hope he can give some of his old self

I go to around half a dozen Bucks games at the Bradley Center a year....Wiggins/Giannis on the wings could be an exciting deal for the Bucks for years to come.

Cleveland gets top pick with a 1.7% chance.

Yep.....we should have tanked.

To move up to where the Cavs were, we know now that is the only spot that would have made a difference, the Bulls would have had to have lost another 16 games. Explain to me what they would have had to have done to fall that far. Trade Noah/Gibson/and not sign DJ?????

With what we know, it seems like not tanking was the exact right thing to do. It s not like 3 teams moved up.

If you think we should have tanked, take a big step back and look at Cleveland. They will now have had the #1 pick 3 or the past 4 years right. They've been in the lottery for the past 4 years. If that's the strategy are you willing to not only say that they're closer to a championship than the Bulls going into next year but you'd bet more money on them?

That's the fallacy of this get draft picks strategy so many want to try. Cleveland with those 4 lottery picks, 3 of them #1 picks are still going to be in the lottery or just barely out of it if they're luckier than they were in this draw. Even without Derrick Rose the Bulls were in the playoffs and went past the first round. Their picks in the 20's weren't stars but they contributed.

i was thinking last night what if cavs gave us that pick for Deng :crying:
Cavs would have never traded an unprotected pick for Deng. Its rare that ever happens in today's NBA. They would have probably Top 10 protected it this year. Maybe next it'd be unprotected.

We could have given major minutes to Teague, Snell, & other scrubs.

Noah would've been forced to have his after-season surgery, DJ would've never been signed, & Dunleavy would've been glued to the bench.

It's idiotic to pass on a chance of drafting a franchise player just for the experience of a damn early 1st round exit.

I'm going to laugh my ass off when we don't sign Melo or Love, Mirotic doesn't come over, Glassman gets injured again, and Butler just drops dead from exhaustion.

We are not Cleveland and our situation was different. We have Noah & Rose.

I have stated since D-Rose's last injury that it's no longer about getting him help. It's now about getting someone that he can help. I defend Rose against his critics that are still upset with him because he didn't return from the ACL tear when they wanted, but I kinda agree with them when it comes to not trusting his health enough to put all my eggs in his basket.

We had a unique opportunity to add a young franchise player (Parker or Wiggins) that would play alongside Rose & Noah for the next 5 years, then take over as we then began to build around him after Rose & Noah declined.

We screwed it all up for an early first round exit.

Welcome? We've been here for 10 years

but atleast we had greats like Gordon and Rose to watch...and we're still young so there was hope we'd eventually make it

now we are maxed out potential wise and gotta watch noah trying to create off the dribble leading to him throwing up those wild running left hand hook shots and watch jimmy launch flat ass 3 pointers that brick as the shot clock expires

yet somehow they are still good enough to be a middling playoff team

but on the bright side hopefully we are getting rid of boozer and his 3 push in the back fouls a game

Who gives a shit about Noah's DPOY?

Noah and Taj get $500,000 bonuses for winning certain awards. How has that impacted the team though?

The Bulls are still a 4th seed team facing elimination in the 1st round of the playoffs, by a 5th seeded team no less.

Fact: This team has very little talent compared to the rest of the league.
Fact: This team will never contend as constructed, even with Carmelo.

Bulls fans and Chicago sports fans in general seem to have a hard time keeping their eye on the ball. We're so easily distracted by things that don't matter (awards). T

Its hilarious reading stuff like this. Your "FACTS" are both so wrong it is asinine to believe them. Do you understand that those "awards" are in
recognition of the real talent and results shown by a player? Not some stupid participation award given to everyone so that they are not saddened
by not getting an award.

You are just a cynic. And you sure are not objective.
