I order canned and other processed packaged foods from around the world to try. Mres, canned, powdered, sauces, other dry goods etc. Some familiar sounding stuff and others, not so much.

Sound like you're testing the waters for what foods you want to have on hand for the zombie apocalypse.

Went to marianos to get some nice fresh fish, rang me up for cod at 6 bux a lb. It was grouper

So we've got a cooler full of snapper that we're going to pan fry with blackened seasoning tomorrow, so there's one clear choice to accompany that...mango salsa.

Super easy, but god damn delicious. Fresh cubed mango, red onion, tomato, avocado, jalepeno, cilantro, red pepper, lime juice and a little salt. Making a big batch of that, plus some Caribbean rice.

We're also gonna fry some gator tail with some dips. There's a ton of it. Dips will be something creamy and chipotle based, along with some sweet chili sauce. But the best way to eat it is with fresh lemon IMO. If you cook it right, that's all you need.

Really looking forward to tomorrow. Hanging out with awesome people, eating great food, knocking down some beers, perfect weather. Can't really complain.

Sounds great! Have you ever a a doll spread for your snapper? Sour cream, buttter,dill, lemon pepper and a touch of pineapple juice

That's Italian beef. Yuns make French dips with hot peps?

I do. Cheese and au jous is not enough for me personally, but I put peppers and hot sauce on just about everything.
