endless legends....i is still winless....i notice while the early to mid game the ai be easy enough, they seem to get better late game.. as in make a huge leap in shit.. tech, money..........the last three games i tried to play... ive lost it in the late game... 1 to science and two to economic.

if you play on a pangea.. id say expansion and supremacy victories would be easy.. those two seem to be the easiest in general.. bring enemies death.. i would have won with an expansion had i planned on going that route from the start.. but i didnt builted troops fast enough.. i didn't hit fast and hard early either... its a struggle on continents when fucks dont wanna trade with you going economic... or when you need heros and some ai **** keeps banning you from the marketplace..

i just need to figure out the balance of this game for the type of victory i be after... figure out me enemies and all the different player strengths... i find civ easier, but i know civ a little bit.. this here be a challenge.. maybe i should read up on shit.. stop this learn while you be play shit..

i guess i could go get an easy win and just kill everything as fast as possible...

oh.. just bought two dlcs.. i guess i should have just bought the bundle to begin with.. but eh, didnt know if id like it or not.. anyway got the guardians and shifters dlc for about 5 dolla... just read those are two ya want... dont care for shadow atm.. maybe once i get mo betta at the game and need some espionage challenges... between dis and quake me gaming is guud til madden maybe... or til i jump on da fortnite wagon too.

I know I am being obsessive, but I went all the way back to my save before I did my camp army build stuff before Gaines Mill.

I put all my money into a shitload of rookie recruits so I had 3 brigades of 1700-2000 men in each of my 3 divisions, plus I invested in a shitload more supply for my 1st Corps since ammo running out 75% thru the battle was a problem.

I also invested in rookie recruits for my 2nd Corps as much as I could so all their infantry brigades had 1200.

This helped alot.... I was able to pin them down in the corner for half the battle and then I fell back on my defensive positions around the victory points in much better order.... withdrawal instead of total rout.

I let my 2nd Corps reinforcement deal with the flanking attack from the North that inevitably took the main victory point.

And still.... by the end of the battle it was a fucking slaughter.... many of my units were completely destroyed and if not the remaining infantry brigades at the end had dropped from 1700-2000 men to 550-1000 men.

With lots of money and points to spend I rebuilt 1st Corps pretty well... the next battle... naturally they have 20 brigades with 3000-4000 men.... I see 5-6 brigades that are short from Gaines Mill... but I am still outnumbered 15k to 60k again.

I think the only way to play this game is early on to invest in tons of rookie recruits with shitty weapons and spend as much of your points on army organization as possible so you can be throwing 2000-3000 size brigades onto the field.

Then invest in all the other stuff later.... better weapons, better medicine, more veteran recruits, etc.

Anyone play The Last of Us? Was thinking of getting it. I'm a big fan of Resident Evil games but this one seems more "open" but still looks like fun.

Any feedback on it, let me know thanks.

Worth one play through for sure. One of the best games of all time, albeit a bit linear. Don't look for spoilers and just play it. Piss poor replay value (not to say it isn't fun still), so maybe if possible, barrow it from a friend who doesn't want to play it.

the damn fortnite gotz me and wont let go.. 3 days of power playing.. zero fucking wins... hahah.. shit be hard... finish #2 a lot in solo playing as a sneaky opportunist... but i get out builted fairly easy in a 1v1.. old man fingers.. arfwritetus or sum shit.. still need to practice building mo and swap my keybindings again...20 button mouse would come in handy fo show....

wish theyd get that playground up and going again so i dont have to play a solo match and go across to the furthest spot from da bus to practice building for a few minutes before letting da force field killz me.. wish they had a few different BR maps... id pay for that..

well i be won 50v50 a couple times but that dont count.. squads be shit most of the time..rambos who wanna go off or lil kids just trolling n being kids..... but ive spectated some teams at the end of matches that had their shit squared away.. a sight of beauty.. 4 peeps who can play and build like they on da coka..

it doesnt even come close to RE1-4 and re7. the story is ok and reasonably well written for a video game, but far from the greatness people attribute to it. That's not to say games arent capable of the same excellence in writing as other mediums, just that it very rarely happens and this isnt it. its just better written than the shit that makes up the writing in most games. hell, the story is far better written than most of the cheese that is RE, but the good REs are just that...good games.

TLOUs major issue is the actual game tacked onto said story. its straight up garbage with boring, linear as can be level design and the most generic stealth/3rd person action gameplay imaginable, thats clunky as hell to boot.

check it out for yourself though. you might love it. or at least find it worth playing.

anyway, im still playing vampyr. its not so good that i cant stop playing it. in fact i havent picked it up in a few days, but ive been kind of busy and plan to finish it before moving onto a new game. as i said earlier it has very well written characters, solid mood and atmosphere, and is a decent game built around some great ideas.

Has anyone heard anything good yet about RDR2? I am thinking of pre-ordering it to get a few of the perks.

explain what you mean by building?

I thought fortnite was a FPS where you were trying to kill all the other people... I am confused.

while you collect weapons, you also collect resources..... brick, wood and metaln (oh and traps, but those are collected like weapons))... you use those to create, walls, ramps, floors, roofs and traps. building cover while in a firefight is a necessary skill. building ramps (stairs) to reach stuff, to get up hills quick, to safely fall from high places without injury are part of the building aspect too.. building is pretty complex.

you can also edit on the fly to modify the piece. add a window, double window, half pieces, door, turn a ramp into an actual stair etc, the better you can build with duh speed, the better you become at the game... well you still need to shoot guud..

the hard part is the keybindings and finding a setup that is comfortable and works fast. this is a game where a 20 button mouse would shine imo..

That shit sounds too complicated and probably something a 14 year old punk would whip my ass at.

idk if this list is correct but you get da gist of what i be talking about...

skip to about :55 sec to see a 1v1 battle in real time..

its easy but hard... i still havent gotten a #1 win in solo or squads.. tons of 2nd place finishes but i cant build with the speed the guud peeps gotz.. and i havent been lucky enough to end up 1v1 vs some scrub who cant build...

but it does take skill for the most part.. so i appreciate that part the most.. it not some handicapping algorithmic game that evens out the playing field.

Watch that video and it seems like it would be fun but frustrating.

it is.. squads are hit and miss.. some days all i get are lil kids for teammates.... so i play solo more...

im starting to become okay, but still a beginner after idk how many hours of play... me game is getting better, finally took #1... but i still struggle against good fast builders n taking on multiple players at once.... however, some building is finally becoming muscle memory for me.. if i keep up with this game.. ill be decent in a few months, but i am getting burnt on the single royale map... season 5 starts in 3-4 days.. hopefully theres enough change to keep it fresh.. debating if i want to buy the season 5 pass....just stay playing free or move on once madden drops..
