Start playing Frostpunk. Its decent, a bit challenging so far.. just learning.. thought I had my city under control my 3rd go round and some random event comes and kills my hope and i get the boot after a few days. Hopefully it doesnt become too easy once you learn everything.

Same devs who made this war of mine..

I bought and played thru this when Frostpunk first came out.

I found it fun, but the game seemed easy and lacked diversity/choices/replay.

I did one replay and it was going exactly the same a my previous one, so I moved on.

I built the same stuff in the same spots, mostly because there isn't anywhere else to build it.

I gathered resources from the same piles because there's no other option.

I upgraded the same buildings and activated the same options, and like 1-2 hrs in I realized I was gonna have the same self-sustaining colony in the snow.

Did they do something to randomize it?

OH Gran Turismo 7 came out. I am usually more into arcade racing games like need for speed. But about every 3 or 4 years I get an itch for a realistic racing sim.. and along comes Gran Turismo

As I said earlier I've been playing borderlands 3. I switched to it cause I got tired of dying to a Bloodbourne boss. OH my is borderlands 3 easy compared to Bloodbourne. I've killed every boss on the first time without looking at a guide. I've only died 3 times and most of those were just me being stupid.

How is the co-op in BL3? (if you've tried it)

IDK. Seems the same my first few restarts, Like you, I finished the story once and Im done. No point in replaying that. Tried to play endless mode but it was too casually paced. Was fun for a few hours. Done with it for now. need something else to play..

I find most city-building type games are built by/for autists who need to be constantly clicking something.

Very few of them will encourage you to design, build and then observe.

Its just build, build, build.... decide decide build build build.... click click click click click.

Instead of observing what's happening, they shout it at you in small bursts of pop-up text/icons.

It feels like so many games are built by people catering to the Social Media autist crowd who want every game to be click-spamming whack-a-mole in response to UI emergencies.

Nah the final boss is harder. In fact he was rated the hardest boss of all From Software games thus far.
owl is definitely no joke and an upper tier boss.

Personally, and I know people who agree. That the demon of hatred which is one of the optional bosses in Sekiro is harder than the final boss. But either way it's splitting hairs.

Honestly, the only thing imo that's hard about the final boss is he has three phases. His move sets aren't the hardest thing to nail down it's more a battle of attrition.

Elden ring has a boss that is on par with both of them.

Anyone else playing Horizon Forbidden West? I got it on launch day, but I'm still not very far through it yet. Limited gaming time lately. I love it so far though.

I am. I still just use my bow all the time and don't try out the other weapons which may explain why I haven't gotten too far in it lol

I pretty much played through the first one that way, and am still very bow dependent. Lol. Traps? Tripwires? Ropecasters? Blast slings? That's for chumps. I'll just arrow spam this mfer.

I've played all the Gears games and every single one was fun and engaging, now I kinda wanna replay them.

For your kindness I will tell you, ME:Andromeda is a giant waste of your time.

Andromeda was odd, its like they built gameplay for a story about a journey to a whole new world/galaxy and then forgot to build those actual worlds in the actual Andromeda galaxy.

First game where I felt they literally put no meat on any of the bones: characters, story, missions, combat, ship/base building, side quests, economy.... it truly felt like they got to a point where they had no game and needed to release something, so they framed up the bare minimum of what they had that could be considered a game and then put it on the market.

Damn that’s a real bummer. I have game pass and I see lots of cool old games on here. How are the hit man games?

I only played a couple of the early Hitman games and they were good at the time.

I'd give those a shot if I were you.
