I thought about picking up Elden Ring but realized I probably should finish Bloodbourne first... or Dark Souls2... or demon soul.. or any From software game :)

Actually playing Borderlands 3 which I had sitting in my unplayed library

Edit: Forgot I also have Dark souls to finish
I tried Dark Souls, I got all 3 on a Steam Deal.

I found it difficult to enjoy the 1st one in any aspect.

Obviously it has the whole element where you gotta continually repeat shit and get your ass kicked.

But the game itself didn't feel like it held up... the graphics, the level designs, it all felt old and sticky.

I played the entire Jedi Fallen Order game and it shares that Souls-like gameplay, and it still gets annoying repeating stuff too many times, but it was still lots of fun.

After a few hours of Dark Souls I gave up on it.

Why play a game where none of it is enjoyable?

Too many games these days are designed by people on the spectrum who enjoy repeating the same tasks over and over.

From software games are all about recognizing your enemies' patterns and then countering them. I usually wait to buy them until there is a guide out as I don't have the time to sit there for hours learning each bosses moves and how to counter them. It sure does feel good though when you finally beat them especially the few times when I took a strategy for defeating a boss and tweaked it to fit my play style.

Feels allot better that they say it’s the hardest boss in the game

Nah the final boss is harder. In fact he was rated the hardest boss of all From Software games thus far.

Guides don't help me a lot. I need to learn the timings with the controller in my hand. I'll read a guide before I fight a boss but I go into the first couple of fights just dragging them out as long as I can so I can see the timings and tells. Funny thing is I often come close to beating the boss in the first couple of tries because of the cautious slow pace. I've actually beat a couple of From boses on the first try just that way.

Was it a good win, or did you luck it?

I've had so many boss battles lol where I realize I got lucky but I just don't care.
Bro I think I lucked it lol. I had no more gourd left and used my rice and he hit me with the firecracker you couldn’t even see any health left but he was low also so just dodged and blocked not getting greedy hitting him only one time until I got him lol

I love those golden moments in gaming, low on health, odds against you, but somehow you eek out a win.

I've only had a handful of great ones in my life.

70.7 Hours to finish Dying Light and the Following DLC. Thank god that shit is over. Didnt enjoy the following as much as the base game. Was already zombied out. The change up of gameplay made it feel different and it also made it boring imo.. I felt like a dominos pizza delivery guy. I went through the following on mental autopilot, not really being sucked in to the story. At least it ends that chapter of Dying Light. Def gonna be a year or so before I get into Dying Light 2.

After 70.7 hours my character levels still arent maxed out. Survivor/Power were maxed from the base game but my agility only went from like a 20 to a 21 (24 is max) during the following due to the change in gameplay.. legend tree is nowhere near completeing...

Best part about the base game and its dlc.. Thinking i was rambo, from that really bloody reboot movie and going to town on hordes of zombies with a machete and a bow.

Start playing Frostpunk. Its decent, a bit challenging so far.. just learning.. thought I had my city under control my 3rd go round and some random event comes and kills my hope and i get the boot after a few days. Hopefully it doesnt become too easy once you learn everything.

Same devs who made this war of mine..

Haven’t been able to play until today but demon of hatred wasn’t that hard at all his movements were really predictable and he leaves allot of open spots to hit

Now ishin the sword saint seems to be a chore. Going to give it a break a regroup for that one 4 phase boss fight ?

Just beat the game ishin wasn’t as bad as I thought he would be. The hardest fight i went through in this game is the second owl father fight idk why it kicked my ass

I wish I didn’t have so many games to play it was a really good one and wouldn’t mind to run it again in new game + but I have allot of games I would like to play

Endless mode in Frostpunk is meh. Its okay to play, its just too easy imo. Story mode presses you and is fun. PLaying that concept over and over would get boring though. Overall it was enjoyable for awhile. May look into the DLC during a steam sale to get another story going.. Will probably pick up 2 when that drops
