Dying Light says Im nearly 40 hours in.... spent 35 ish leveling up/doing side quests... Probably OP for no reason.. got to the point where Rais captures me... WTF was that.. okay, so im captured but how it was played out in the game makes me want to quit playing this shit.... that dumb ass transition mentally pulled me out of the game.. smh

Been awhile since I beat a games story. Dying Light is done. The game was okay. Would ***** about a couple of things but dont want to spoil a 6-7 yr old game any further...

Took me 53 hours to beat. Did all the side quests and explored a bit, trying to level up. Story may have been 15-20 hours if you just stuck to that. I didnt mind the majority of the side quests.. some felt like filler, but it wasnt too bad.

Even after 53 hours, my character isnt fully leveled up. I saw some videos after I beat it on how to cheese through levels quickly, but Ive had my fill of the game. By hour 50 I just wanted it to end

They did enough for me to want to buy Dying Light 2. Game looks more refined and decent from what Ive seen on the tube, but after slaying a countries worth of zombies, im going to have to sit on that idea for 6-12 months.

Elden Ring drops tomorrow. Supposedly game of the year and one of the best games of all time.

It is from the team behind Dark Souls and Sekiro so challenging as **** so buyer beware. Also George Martin helped with the story.

Yeah which is crazy when it hasnt even dropped yet.

Apparently you can try and fight the final boss at the very start of your playthrough so completely open world. Of course it will likely be impossible to beat him at that point but I am sure someone will try.

I’m down. I’m towards the end in sekiro right now and I’m doing better in sekiro then I did with nioh. I’m watching some YouTube videos to pick the right ending I want to end up with

I started on Hardspace Shipbreaker last night.

It is oddly enjoyable, for such a seemingly menial activity.

If you need a game where you can kinda unplug and focus your brain for a bit, maybe listen to some music, this game works.

It gives a very tangible sense of accomplishment.

I thought about picking up Elden Ring but realized I probably should finish Bloodbourne first... or Dark Souls2... or demon soul.. or any From software game :)

Actually playing Borderlands 3 which I had sitting in my unplayed library

Edit: Forgot I also have Dark souls to finish

I tried Dark Souls, I got all 3 on a Steam Deal.

I found it difficult to enjoy the 1st one in any aspect.

Obviously it has the whole element where you gotta continually repeat shit and get your ass kicked.

But the game itself didn't feel like it held up... the graphics, the level designs, it all felt old and sticky.

I played the entire Jedi Fallen Order game and it shares that Souls-like gameplay, and it still gets annoying repeating stuff too many times, but it was still lots of fun.

After a few hours of Dark Souls I gave up on it.

Why play a game where none of it is enjoyable?

Too many games these days are designed by people on the spectrum who enjoy repeating the same tasks over and over.
