Love me some calamari if fried right.

Yeah, this place it's damn near perfect. Fresh, not frozen bullshit. Nice seasoning they put in the batter, which is pretty light. Little bit of lemon juice, awesome.

My company has a college associated with it. :) Great food and cheap prices as it is a non-for profit.
Maybe I should go out to Moody for lunch one day...too bad it's so dang far of a walk

lunch today was Q BBQ in Naperville; sliced brisket, mac n cheese, mashed tatas w/ brisket gravy, and hushpuppies.

Alligator balls!

In the Midwest there are no alligators. There are lots of pigs doe.....pig nuts when put on a menu are called Mountain Oysters. Yall southerners need to come up with a term for gator balls. :smoke:

Well, maybe, but these gator balls are kind of like hushpuppies with alligator meat then deep fried. lol

Anyone have any lunchmeat recommendations?

I been trying various brands of turkey and ham at the deli... I keep my lunch sammiches simple.... wheat bread, meat, cheese.

Dietz and Watson is more expensive but I didn't love any of the turkey I got from them.

Sara Lee is cheap and terrible.

Butterball turkey seemed aight.

Im also getting sick or turkey/cheese and ham/cheese.... gimme other meat/cheese combos I should try.
