KFC mashed potato bowl. It looks gross, but it’s good. Very, very good.

Those were money back in college. My fast food option would be a double Baconator. Not very often do I eat fast food, but when I do, I like to make it count.

I have not done it in probably 2 years at least, but a triple cheeseburger from Wendy's....

Last time I went and got it the teenager working the drive thru was impressed I could eat a triple and confided that he could only handle a double, but was aspiring to be able to finish a triple sometime that year.

I went all:

:speechless:

And then I drove away

I can do a triple if I'm really hungry. That kid is going to go far.

They just made that person a new sandwich and ate the loss.

The Taco Bell by me in college used to often have these problems where they would give away the wrong order, make someone's order a 2nd time, then people would leave.... so more than once they have extra tacos or w/e laying around and just threw em in with my order.

Also I once pulled up to pay at that drive thru and the dude working the window sticks his head out and yells at me "Yo, how much u want fo dis car?!"

I said "It aint for sale..." and he replied "Aight, 9.88$ be yo total den"

That Taco Bell had the worst staff lol

At least if you went inside, you could give up and go to the Niro's next door lol

I had a stubborn grudge about it where I refused to go inside.... they could **** around all they wanted, but godamnit I was getting my Taco Bell and I was not getting out of my fucking car.

Another fun story about that drive thru (you can tell I spent time there):

As you come around the bend towards the window you are parallel with a street (Lincoln IIRC?) and a sidewalk. Between the sidewalk and the drive thru is probably 3-4 feet of sloped grass up maybe 3-4 feet to a square curb for the drive thru.

I was in the drive thru 1 car at the window with me behind and some dude (homeless maybe?) comes walking up the grassy slope to stand on the curb by my passenger window. I stared intensely ahead for about 10-15 seconds as he gestured at me trying to get my attention. Then very suddenly I jerked my head towards him, it startled him and he lost his footing, then fell down that slope to the sidewalk. I then pulled up to the drive thru window and gave them my best all-teeth smile.... drive thru guy was lolzing hard af.

Tim's is the best. Every once in a while they do Wasabi chips, I could take a bag of those down in a sitting, so good.

As for guilty pleasure, I define that as something that is objectively not good, yet I want it anyway.

Taco Bell chili cheese burritos
Easy Cheeze + chicken in a biscuit crackers

All of those things are objectively horrible, but god damn it, sometimes I just want some salty pseudo-food

EDIT: And as far as random mexican food, one of the things I miss most about living in Chicago is Pepe's. Man I fuckin' love that place. I'd get in a fist fight with Mike Tyson right now for some Tostadas Suiza from Pepe's.

Queso made from Velveeta.

I’ll spend an hour precisely cutting vegetables to make a beautiful, delicious salsa and then mix it with butter and a half a block of Velveeta. Fucking amazing.
