TBT, if the Sox make it to the postseason. I'll definitely be rooting for them, they actually remind me of the hometown team back in the heyday.

Some good sluggers, decent pitching, good fielding. Just all-around good fundamental baseball

if he keeps the ball down and has a bit better control he will be fine. its a must that he listens to coop.

Not only is this not true, it's also a sad attempt to flame me.

Umm again it is.

Anyone using UZR and than using UZR from 2008 and stating they wouldnt move Ramirez to SS for Castro specifically for defense clearly has no clue about baseball and doesnt understand DRS and UZR. That is fact.

I will repeat, again. Ramirez is better at defense than Castro. All day long. This isnt even a debate.

Ramirez is a better defender... Castro will make the harder play. Compromise!

What? I know what your trying to say, but no. I can't think of a time this year where Ramirez has completely screwed the Sox on a defensive play. Castro on the other hand is an air head, having mental lapses both in the field and on the basepaths, I'll take the Cuban Missile on defense any day of the week over Castro

I don't think you got was I was saying. Ramirez is a better defender (for now, hopefully), but Castro will make the tougher play. I've seen both play and that's what I get from it. The tougher plays by Castro does not matter, though.

Something that's a good sign about this is that Cooper said that he saw what Liriano was doing wrong in the start against the Sox and knew he could fix it.

Mitch Williams was on Chicago Tribune Live and he talked about Liriano. He said he hates his mechanics and that he lands too open which causes the loss of control. He said Gardenhire talked to him about it and he said that they've worked on it. It was one of those things that Liriano could do during bullpen but couldn't transfer it to on the mound in the game. Might be what Cooper was talking about. Might be something completely different.

Yeah. I think we'll have to wait and see when he makes his first start if things are going to go well or not.

I wont judge until after 2nd start as he could be crazy being that he was just traded and his first game will be against his former mates.

the starts are good though 3.68 era with 80ks in 11 starts and that includes the shalacking we gave him
