Dunn leads the team in HR's and is second in OPS, and OPS+.

Dunn isn't playing like shit. His avg. sucks as always but he has 24 HRs and 60 RBIs. If that's shit what is Konerko, Alexei, Viciedo and Kepp? I mean I know Dunn isn't performing to his full potential of his contract but outside of his 1st year he's been what we've needed. It is just others haven't backed him up this year.

Uhm, no he has not. Look at his numbers. All career worsts every single year. avg, ob, slg, ops, all career worst. He's also locking up the DH spot which hurts us and his salary hurts too.

Has he been hot the last 5-6 weeks? Yes. That's the player he should have been for this team all along. Too bad he's doing this in garbage time unless of course it;'s enough for some club out there dumb enough to offer us some prospects for. So far that hasn't happened. Wonder why that is? I know, because the White Sox brain trust is infinitely smarter than all the other teams brain trusts. That's gotta be it. I stand corrected.

He is doing that, at least these past 5-6 weeks. With Konerko being hurt there isn't another power hitter on the team so he should be. Funny though, De Aza is in essence right there with him and he's the leadoff hitter.

When you check on value (war stuff) Dunn rates in the middle bottom of the Sox regulars. Not good. Not for the highest paid player on the team. Not for the DH.

I'm not a Dunn hitter, but it is a fact that he hit better last year than this year. Konerko's 2012 >>>>>> his 2013. So many players are having worse years and even last year the Sox didn't make the playoffs.

Time for the young guys to come up and get some experience. Let Konerko walk this winter.
