Game 6 is a must win for the Preds not the Hawks. What game 6 is for the Hawks is a want to win game. The Preds are still the team with their backs to the wall for now. The must win game for the Hawks will be game 7 if it goes there. Am I the only one that can figure out basic math?

Well, for the sake of my heart rate, Game 6 is a must-win.

Mathematically, no, it's not a true "must-win" game. But I want NO part of a Game 7 in Nashville.

Hi HHM -

Sorry for the delayed response... it's been a long day of answering all of the fan mail/PMs I've received since my ban last Friday.
Hope some of this helps... really happy to see you so into the greatest sport in the world.

Meh, Buff was just pure physicality, not really that great of a skater or puck handler. I know that's the reason why he was let go, because Q is hellbent on trying to innovate this "finesse" style of hockey, but you can't ignore the fact that these tiny finesse guys like kaner and towes need to be protected.

Sure they do. Buff was also pretty darn good sitting in front of the net. He didn't have to be anything other than he was. I wouldn't call Toews a tiny finesse guy though.

Byfuglien was fat and lazy and only barely showed up in the playoffs. Are you insinuating that he's "tough" and "physical" because of his "physical appearance"?

Why not suggest getting Andrew Ladd or Brandon Bollig back instead?

Nonsense. They made a mistake in letting him go. You must be thinking of someone else if you believe he isn't a tough guy.

If there was ever a goalie meet up at center ice, I'm most definitely taking crawdaddy over darling. Scott is such a pretty boy, he'd get his ass beat down.

I doubt that. He pushed a guy in front of him about five feet. I doubt that he is a pretty boy. Crawford sure doesn't impress me with any "toughness". A really tough guy wouldn't have shit all over himself in letting that line of Predators score on him like he did. THAT was SOFT.

three straight playoff years, Crawford called on the opposing goalie, and they backed down. Nobody will ever forget Mike Smith not even being able to look him in the eye when he skated past him. Crawford also had a reputation in the AHL as a fighting goalie.

And Grim is right about Buff. He was let go because he wanted six mil a year to float around for 82 games, and show up in the playoffs. He was Black Bickell.

And Darling is tougher for getting lit up in the third period last year? Only thing Darling has been fighting lately is temptations.

Crawford/Darling debate is going to become the Grossman/Orton debate.

I wasn't referring to which one of them would win in a fight.
