Felt like common knowledge that Crawford was quite clearly drunk at that Rise Against concert. I believe there were reports from fans also in attendance that night saying the same thing.

That's how I remember things also. IF he does have a substance abuse problem, that's a pretty serious thing if you are a goalie I would guess and would bring into question quite a few of those soft goals in this series. I don;t know what kind of drug testing the NHL has. You really don't think Steroids and HGH in hockey and this is different but maybe I'll re-watch Slapshot for guidance about alcohol consumption and tough guy play

There used to be a rather big problem in the NHL with goalies abusing cough syrup .. especially Sudafed.
