Well thats on our dumbfuck manager. Theriot should never hit above 8. He really should hit ninth.

Hit 9th when Z is pitching, I think he's a good 8 hitter. Look Q is trying Baker and DeWitt as leadoff hitter and there doing pretty good.

As much as I'd like to see Castro take this, I don't think he'll come close to getting enough votes. Heyward seems to have been anointed the RotY since day one, and his numbers are pretty decent (.277 BA, .387 OBP, .862 OPS, 16 HR, 64 RBI, 73 Runs, 9 SB). Those are pretty great numbers. If Posey had a full season at his current rates it would be him hands down, but the lower game total and the strong competition probably pushes him out. Garcia will get some votes, but I don't think he'll get it.

I'd say the only way for Castro to make a real run would be to win the batting title. That's not likely, but not crazy either as he's currently in fifth place in the NL.

All in all, it's nice to see an injection of strong young talent in baseball.

This has really been a fantastic season for rookies. A number of future superstars, and they've generally been pretty good from the first at-bat.

Heyward and Castro had two of the coolest MLB debuts ever.

You know, any other year, Castro, Heyward, Garcia, Posey, or Sanchez could've gotten Rookie of the Year. Sucks for them to all be clumped together into one year.

No I'm not and I'm right. Who would u want Castro or Davis? Even Met fans, say Castro is better than Davis because I've ask some. You're a moron for having Davis before Castro.
You're right because you're basing your vote on who has the better potential. And I'm the moron :rofl:

I wouldn't put Niese or Davis ahead of Castro. Unless he's much better than his stats show, Niese has a 3.70 ERA. That's decent, but that's not enough to impress me more than a .315 batting average.

Castro only has a 106 OPS+ and a .796 OPS with subpar D, I'll take Niese over him kthxbi.

An average pitcher over a player who's going to have a good career.

You're still being a moron. It's about what they have DONE so far, not what they MAY do 10 years from now. God, a fucking 10 year old can get that...How the **** are you in college?

Screw it, I'm done arguing. You won't listen to me and I'm right. I say good things about WS players but you can't say something nice about Castro. Hmmmmm what would I take a SS or a P...IDK.

Niese=109 ERA+
Castro=106 OPS+

If Niese is average, than Castro is slightly below average. Yea, now you see how stupid your logic is now waldo.

Dude, you really don't get it. You're trying to fucking say that Castro should get the Rookie of the Year because he MIGHT be the better player down the road. You don't see what is wrong with that statement? God damn, you type like a stupid two year old and it's just like arguing with one too.

Want me to say something nice about Castro? OMGZ HIS BA IS SO AMAZANGGGG *ORGASM*

Subpar D? You are basing this off of?

-0.5 UZR

-1.7 UZR/150

-14 DRS

And the dozen or so games I've seen from him, not impressed. When you grade out as below average by all the defensive metrics, chances are you're below average. I haven't seen one fielder yet that has had a negative in every defensive metric yet is a good defender.

Using one stat to determine who is better? Really?
Was I? Re-read my post and show me where I said in it that Niese is better because of that one stat. I just posted em. All it is.

My bad, you think Castro should finish higher than Niese because he will have the better career. Stupid, nonetheless.

Not impress about what? What was not impressive. Just curious...I know there's a lot of room for improvement but he's only 20 and he will improve.
