i dont:shrug:...i think he's made some dicey moves that have led to some regression..i.e. not being able to systematically replace alot of the talent he had pitching and hitting wise when he first started..

Even though i dont think it will happen i hope its epstien, i dont see him leaving the team he loves. But i think if the cubs offer enough money and the lure of being able to say he brought world championships to the red sox and cubs might bring him here. I again dont think its likely but i hope it happens.

If the Red Sox miss the playoffs, I think there's a chance he could come to the Cubs. It's not out of the realm of possibility.

That is a real interesting question. Who should we the cubs fan be rooting to lose between Boston and Tampa? Because whoever is out the cubs could interview first which could be a difference in several weeks of time. I still think I'd rather get Friedman.

Those are two awfully big assumptions to be making such a definitive statement about Hahn's future. To be honest I'm not sure how highly he is on Ricketts list. While Hahn might have different philosophy than kenny williams, he has worked for an organization that has pretty much done the opposite the entire time he was there. If I had to guess I would say that would raise a red flag that ricketts would want hahn to alleviate those fears. Ultimately I think the winner will be a surprise in that we won't know it til it is announced.
