My favorite teams
Michael Jordan
Rose.Rose´s number has to be retired by the Bulls first, before arguing about that question.
We can only guess what he will win.
As a sidenote: We know that MJ is #1 and Pippen is #2. But who do you put on #3? Sloan or Love?
Well, Rose's 2011 season was the best season by any Bulls player since Jordan's 88 season.
To me at least.
He will. That's true, but he needs to sustain that consistency to supplant Pippen as #2 in Bulls history, which barring injury or a severe drop-off statistically he will definitely do.
He will.
That's why I said all he needs to do is win 1 title and he secures that spot. I look at MJ and Pip as a 1a & 1b type scenario. They won together. Rose would win with his teammates also, but he would be the undisputed leader of the team.
Oh I got what you were saying. i was agreeing with you.Exactly. Didn't mean to come off as disagreeing with you. If I did, I apologize. Just saying that the year Rose had was great, but didn't make him #2 just by that one year. :hi5:

For sure Scottie is. It has been said but the dudes offense and defensive skill set was a vital part in the Bulls 90's run.
LoL to all of you that think Rose last year was the best by any player since 1988 Jordan...That is just plain outright ridiculous....Obviously a lot of people here are in there early 20s and missed out...If you witnessed the Bulls from 88 to 98 you would know that...
Its not even a funny statement, its ridiculous.....Jordan was better than Rose every year from 88 to 98....And Derrick Rose is not on Pippens level yet......yu guys really need to slow down, and you youngsters here need to ask your daddys so they can explain....
And as for you Hue, Pippen was no sidekick...he was his own man...
All. The discredit, hate and ignorance toward Pippen that you have shown over the last 3 months is more than disturbing..
You need to purchase the 90s seasons and review your thoughts...its hard to believe that you believe yourself when you type anything related to Scottie Pippen..
Go to the Hall and tell the experts that inducted Pip into the Hall of Fame the crap you talk and wattch yourself get laughed out of the building..
The emboldened is where I disagree.
The reason everybody on this topic has agreed that Rose has a chance to pass Pippen to be the 2nd greatest Bull of all-time is because, last season, he showed that he was the level Scottie was. Rose has already proven himself to be a better offensive player than Scottie Pippen. The defense needs work, but he will improve in that area.
Rose, in my opinion, is probably already the third greatest Chicago Bulls' player ever. And he may be the second greatest at his best.
And Pippen is a side-kick. On 9/10 teams, he wouldn't have been. But he was on the same team as JORDAN. Enough said.

In 1994 Pippen played without Jordan
in 1995 he lead the team in all stats before jordan came back. so he is not side-kick. i am not agree with that.
Rose is still not all around player like Scottie was so Pip is still better.
As we talked before Pip can score well
and defensively he is much better then Derrick.
Pip didn't shoot the ball a lot because he did another work on the offensive end. He made his teammates better by passing the ball and creating open shots for them.
