Why are you guys arguing about relievers? It doesn't matter anyway if your pitching can't get them a lead to protect

i understand.

Its CNM doing a horrible job at trolling, or he is just really fucking dumb that he cant admit that crain is more than a serviceable player. If he was on the cubs, CNM would say he is untouchable. He brings nothing but a very vague opinion with nothing to back it up.

Crain and Thornton are fine. You just have to actually get to them with a respectable score.

Who's in the Sox rotation? I haven't paid as much attention. I assume Floyd and Danks are still there.

danks
floyd
peavy
humber
sale

ehhh. it isnt bad, but too many "ifs"

Peavy is an "if". he says he will make 30 starts, contract year but who knows
humber- can he repeat success from 1st half of last year? former 3rd pick.
Sale- 1st year in rotation.

I think they should have kept Sale as a starter. I realize you guys think his delivery is crazy but as a first round pick with that kind of potential you never want that to go to waste in the bullpen if you can help it.

Scoring some runs might help you too  I think runs will come easier for the Sox than they would for the Cubs.

you do realize those are mostly closers right? nice try. good effort, still fail.

never said he was better than rivera or nathan(of past) haha!!!

If a closer and a set up man both throw one inning at a time most of the time.. what's the difference.

I agree that you have to put sale in as a starter, but I do worry about that delivery.

Sale's delivery sort of reminds me of what Randy Johnson used to do. I think he'll be okay.

thats what a lot of experts say. I hope. I think he needs one more pitch, but than again a lot of starters get away with small amount of pitches when they have a good fastball and an awesome change up. santana lived off of that shit.

I was reading a bit about Chris Sale and it seems he was a starter in college if I'm not mistaken. Once he was signed by the Sox they only used him in relief in the minors based on his stats page on B-Ref. That's like the opposite of what the Cubs did with Andrew Cashner, which was probably even stupider, but I don't know how many innings Sale can pitch for you guys if he's never actually been stretched out at the professional level.

You're just jealous that you don't have guys like Crain & Thornton in your pen.
