Huge Brazil fan owing to my second girlfriend ever being Brazilian and getting me into the World Cup in 1994 with Romario and Bebeto and later the original Ronaldo being my favorite player of all time. Also watch a lot of European football particularly Barcelona and now PSG due to Neymar.

However, now that Germany is out, will not be that broken up if someone else wins as no jeopardy for someone tying Brazil's record for most WC wins. Tough match up against Mexico and I feel sorry for Mexico given they can never seem to get out of the round of 16. Other teams I wouldn't mind seeing win are Belgium, Japan (long shot) and France.

Its going to be an uphill battle against them. Hopefully that last loss was a wake up call.

All the supposedly big teams getting out. Wouldn't be shocked to see Brazil eliminated next

Mexico is capable of beating Brazil, just not so sure they'll put out the effort they did against Germany. Who knows though? Should be an interesting game...

Nice effort by Japan today. That was a beautiful match. I can't stand Neymar, so I hope Belgium gives him something to really cry about.

What Neymar did is the exact reason why I could never get into soccer. What a fucking pathetic *****. That shit just should not be accepted, yet soccer seems to put up with it.

He does this shit all the time and it ticks me off. He's one of the most overrated soccer players IMO. I get it. Some of the best players like Cristiano do it too but damn..even they dont take it to Neymar level. Neymar is a fucking joke

No excuse for Neymar's theatrics. He has immense skill. He gets fouled a lot, and the guy who deliberately stepped on his foot, while out of play, play stopped, is a bigger asshole, let's be honest.

Feigning pain has become part of the sport. It's coached. It sucks, I agree, but there are aspects of all sports like this, where players push the boundaries. There is far more good play in soccer than there is poor sportsmanship. Instances like this blow it up beyond proportion.

FTR, I hate this aspect of soccer, and wish they would do something about it. I would be a bigger fan without it, but it's not as prevalent as many here let on. And I don't let it ruin the entire game.
